I) issue

when i install CM:BN 1.0 , then 1.11 and then 2.0 upgrade(without cw/mg) and then 2.12 patch and when i go into game, the game looks good, bocage and colour tone is nice(better than v1 engine)

. after some time (24h or so) i went to play cmbn and bocage started to look different (also colour tone) , started to look like v1 engine-ish , or at least reminds me of v1 looks

Screenhots:

# How it should look(looked) (v2 engine patch 2.12) after reinstalling on 23rd april (gmt+2)

look at the detailed bocage ,shadows, colour tone, atmosphere

today i went to play(24th april) and found out that the game looks different

Current game look(v2 engine patch 2,12): i tried also reinstalling everything, and game looks like this, cannot get the look from the previous screenshot so far:

(same location as you might notice)

looks like faded ,lower quality version

any sugestions/tips?

i have ati radeon 7750 hd 1gb ddr5 (Default settings in control panel)

4gb of ram ddr3

2.8 dual core procesor

note:

i used sound mod (waclaw 1.5 high quality sound mod)

to conclude. or put it into 1 sentence.

game doesnt look as good as it looked before

II) Radeon Question

this has nothing (or at least i think so) to do with the Previous question/s.

how can i improve (generaly) look of the game by playing with catalyst (ati radeon) settings ?there are many options for AA,thesaliation etc

any help /advice is welcome

note post edited few times to simplify situation

One thing I run into is that the sun keeps moving during setup phase. So if you start a noontime scenario just before bedtime, futz about with it a bit, then leave it up to go to bed, by the time you come back to it, it's lit like night time (but still midday...). That's the only time-dealy thing I can think of that might affect appearance.

Seems I recall seeing it in regular turns as well. If you sit there figuring out your turn at sunrise or sunset, you start to notice that the sun has moved. I have a hunch that during night turns the stars change position as well. One thing though, once you have given all your orders and hit Go, everything goes back to the position appropriate to the time on the clock.

I haven't encountered this in vs-AI games (where I often leave the turn up for many hours)... Might happen in PBEMs; I don't think I've left a non-setup turn of those overlong.
