LukeFF
...because you modeled the non-scoped model of the M91/30 with a turned-down bolt handle. That, of course, was something that was only found on sniper models: Standard 91/30 rifle. This is what the bolt handle should look like on the non-scoped model: http://7.62x54r.net/MosinID/0003.jpg Sniper rifle. Note the difference in the bolt handle: http://7.62x54r.net/MosinID/0046.jpg

MikeyD
The sniper rifle (not shown) got the straight handle. A bit of a 'whoops' moment but its been in the queue to be fixed for awhile.

Cool, no worries. It's just that, being an avid Mosin collector, it stood out to me right away.

LukeFF
I hate to be a nag, but I also noticed something that is not quite right with the M91/30 (and probably also the M38) model. In the image below, the sling slot escutcheons are obviously the type that are pressed into the stock. That sort of feature wasn't really present until very late in the war (as in, late 1944). Because the game will presumably eventually model pre-1944 scenarios, it would be better to use the type of sling slots that were the most common for most of the war: a simple sheet-metal liner for the front sling slot and a simple, bare wood opening for the buttstock sling slot. Very late-war / postwar sling slot arrangement: http://7.62x54r.net/MosinID/0082.jpg Wartime sling slot arrangement: this type was in use from late 1941 onwards. While this is an M38, the arrangement was the same on the M91/30 and M44: http://7.62x54r.net/MosinID/0083.jpg
