101st Airborne Music?

Recommended Posts

I have yet to find any type of music of anthem attributed to the division in question. Did they even care about a march song? Alas, there must of been some type of song or ritual connected to the bastards. Was there some some platoon favorite song or a company song?

rampantone,

Blood on the Risers, THE Airborne song. Not for the squeamish!

Full vocal performance

I learned Blood on the Risers as a kid from a combination of Dad and reading Donald Burgett's thrilling Currahee!

Captain Samuel Loboda's march, Screaming Eagles, wasn't written until 1956, so is irrelevant to answering your query.

MeatEtr,

It's here in three different formats. Does that help any?

Wiki says all three Airborne units used it: 82nd, 101st divs and 173rd Airborne Brigade.

No it doesn't, but I figured out it wasn't the main menu music but the loading music.
