Mod download question from a noob

Am I right in understanding that the repository is the only place to download CMSF mods now?

Is there a readon cmmods.greenasjade.net doesn't host Shock Force mods but they host mods for the other CM games?

There are numerous references to mods on here that I can't find on the repository.

Sorry if this has been answered recently, I did try searching first.

Btw wich CMSF mods exists that arent at the Repository?

The CMSF site at CMMODS has been down for quite a long time unfortunately.

There have been a few. A bunch from this list because I don't know many mods off the top of my head.

Chechen rebels uncon replacement

Muddywaterscombo mod

El_terrifico's Euro Syrian uniforms - mix and match to your liking, instructions are provided with readme. I personally used 5 different patterns for regulars and 2 patterns for reserves - gives soldiers a really personalized feel and looks great (MUST HAVE)

Gordon Molek's UAZ stripe

KLMK Spetsnaz for Syrian SF (there is another SF uniforms mod i cant recall the name of - i used the vest and helmet from it, looks great when mashed together with KLM mod)

Faces of Syria mod

Mord's death knells mod + no music mod

Eurobuildings + European foilage + Syrope_terrain mods, if you want temperate climate terrain

Dazza_Bo there are a ton of CMSF mods. Many are very impressive enhancements. It is almost like getting another theatre to play CMSF in.... Europe, (Euroscape v 1.0), Africa (Mali Mod v1.00), etc. Add the Taliban, Irregulars Afghanistan, IDF Mod v1.0 Golani Brigade and the Paras, French Forces, etc. and you have a huge selection of settings in the toy box.

Have Fun but play fast as CMSF 2 will be here before you know it!

I think CMSF 2 "full spectrum conventional conflict between NATO and Russia in the Ukraine" will be arriving later this year maybe for Christmas? I do not know but just guessing based on Moon's "The Road Ahead" thread so you have time to mess with CMSF mods for sure. There are many top notch user created scenarios / campaigns available in the Repository as well. Have a blast!
