borsook
Hi, I have a serious problem, I can't access battlefront.com, it just doesn't open. I have tried using different browsers and operating systems to no avail. At the moment I'm writing this using web proxy, that's the only way I can access it, but I can't log on to the main site. I live in Poland and my email is mikolajwitkowski@yahoo.pl
Wicky
You might want to email BF direct describing your problem along with your IP address, as it seems like you've blocked. http://www.battlefront.com/community/sendmessage.php

Which is unfair, and borders on illigal. I have bought 5 games from them up to now, well, I will not buy another.
Wicky
http://www.battlefront.com/community/sendmessage.php Use the contact form (see above) which bypasses your yahoo email and send a message directly to Battlefront with your IP address http://whatismyipaddress.com. Probably BF have blocked a range of IP addresses due to someone or some bot up to no good on a similar IP address provided by your Internet Provider. Check if your IP is on any lists http://www.projecthoneypot.org http://www.stopforumspam.com Frustrating I know, but not unsolvable.
Redwolf
They block all kinds of random ****. For example, Chrome and Firefox are both blocked when coming from FreeBSD. Doesn't make any sense. Somebody there is a little too interactive when adding blocks.
borsook
I tried contacting them again, to no avail. Basically the story is that somebody spammed the forum using a similar IP (not the same) and this is a reason to block me and to refuse unblocking. Their solution is for me to use a different IP... I've been with this company since the first SC and I must say this is really disappointing.

About the same as companies who harass the paying customers with work-requiring copy protection while the pirates download something with the protection removed. Simply assuming everybody surfing the web using FreeBSD must be a spammer is also an interesting stretch.
