Buzz
About to move everything to a new SSD & upgrade to Mac 10.8. Is it safe to delete CMSF Log File folder in my User's folder w/o upsetting CMSF Mac? Thanks.
Schrullenhaft
I'll have to check this out as I don't know. Can you read the log file ? If so, is it just a simple log of the installation or something else ?
Buzz
Thanks Schrullenhaft, gs5 folder in my user folder @ 100 MB of data. Click on it and console opens the file. Over 100 files in the folder that appear to be created after every CMSF Mac launch. I did install the SSD and upgrade to OS X 10.8.2 on the Mac Pro w/o any CMFI/BN/CW2.0 or SF issues. SSD loads games faster (no stopwatch but seat of the pants faster). I didn't muck with the CMSF Mac gs5 folder. Thanks again for your help.
DrDon
I've deleted the gs5 folder a couple times without any ill effect.
Schrullenhaft
I've deleted the log files within the gs5 folder and CMSF has worked fine. I'm not sure why these files are getting logged. I guess the way the copy-protection has been wrapped on CMSF has some 'switch' set to logging the game's execution. This isn't any data that we're gathering, it's just getting logged, which could potentially be used for troubleshooting purposes if the occasion arose.
Buzz
Thanks Schrullenhaft & DrDon. I will delete it and see how things work. Not a big deal just was wondering why it was in my user folder and tracking each game session.
Buzz
Removed the entire gs5 folder with all the log files. CMSF Mac works fine and generates a new gs5 folder and log files for each launch in the user's folder.
