Recommended Posts

"On 6 June 1944 6 gliders, led by Major John Howard, succeeded in capturing two strategically important bridges over the Caen channel and the Orne river. In the days after the capture of these bridges British paratroopers of the 7th, 9th and 13th Parachute Battalions of the 6th Airborne Division were deployed in this theatre of operations, together with elements of No. 4, No. 6 and No. 45 Commandoes. In the hours and days after the capture of "Pegasus bridge"and "Horsa bridge" German forces tried to recapture the bridges and destroy the British bridgehead over the river Orne. There were multiple attacks from different directions but the paratroopers of the 6th Airborne Division managed to prevent any German forces from breaking through their lines. During the last attack elements of the 21st Panzer Division and the 346th Infantry Division have been trying to exploit a gap between paratroopers of the 6th Airborne Division and commandoes of the 1st Special Service Brigade but did not succeed. Elements of the 346th Infanterie Division attacked right across Drop Zone N."Take command of the British paratroopers and stop the 21st Panzer Division and the 346th Infantry Division in their final attempt to break through Allied lines. (play as Allied vs. Axis only)

This is a toughie. Many thanks for your work. My only quibble and I mean this constructively is the amount of green objective zones quite overpowers the visual look.

I understand why this has been done, but perhaps a smaller amount would have been possible.

Bye the way I would not be able to make a map and scenario like this myself, so I really appreciate the effort.
