Michael Emrys
MiG-3 survivors Thanks, Aff. So it looks like they would not have been MiG-3s. Michael
Stalins Organ
Remember, this sighting was five months ago. Indeed - it was not too difficult to search for airshows and warbirds get-togethers in 2012! There are quite a lot of Yak-3's flying, and they have a superficial resemblance to P-39's, with a bubble canopy and smooth sloping front fuselage. That's a real possibility, but the fin doesn't look quite right and the ventral radiator seems wrong too. But I won't swear to this since I didn't get such a great look at them. Puzzling. The centrefold picture is good enough to frame so I reckon that's what I'll be doing. Simply gorgeous! Regards KR
