womble
I've seen a good number of German scout teams (the indvidual team sort, rather than the split squad sort) in the last few days, and none of them have had any Panzerfausts. Is this just RNG "extra weapon assignments" stiffing me, or should I just resign myself to having to pair them with Tank Hunter teams/looting Hanomags? Edit: I didn't mean to put this in the Italy forum... I know there aren't any Fausts in Sicily...
Battlefront.com
(thread moved) Scouts are supposed to be going light and fast. Spot and report back. They are not supposed to be engaging enemy armor. As such the Soldiers normally assigned to Scout Teams are lightly armed with SMG/Asslt Rifles and no Panzerfausts. However, if you only have riflemen and LMG dudes left, there is a chance that one of the riflemen with a Panzerfaust will be sectioned off. When you do an AT Team the opposite is the case. The guys with Panzerfausts are selected, with any designated AT Experts being first choice. Steve

Steve I understand how it works in splitting teams off a squad, though most times a scout team is 2 rifles, cos the leader's the only one with an SMG. "Individual team" picks of Scout Teams though always seem to come with 3xMP40, making them excellent ambush troops in close terrain; they just suffer when they close assault tanks, where a handy Faust would even things up in the cornfield plenty It was just a wondering; if you want ambush troops, I guess you'd be better using TH teams anyway.
Artofwar
Scouts may need some extra hardware though http://www.battlefront.com/community/showpost.php?p=1375057&postcount=17
