Smoke Questions

Recommended Posts

I RTFM, and am still confused. Maybe I'm simply not seeing something in plain sight, but the only Smoke command I can find for my tanks and SP TDs is Pop Smoke, NOT Target Smoke. Where is this command, please? Are my smoke equipped AFVs which can fire it firing WP or HC. Will my defensive AI pop smoke automatically, presuming I have smoke projectors fitted, or do I have to do it manually?

I know American Airborne and other us carried WP hand and rifle grenades and used them offensively as well as defensively. Is this modeled?

Regards,

That is indeed the problem.

On the same panel as all the other target commands. Bottom row far right, under the target arc command button.

If the ammunition is listed as "smoke" it is HC. If it is listed as WP it is WP. Both are in the game.

Automatically, but the manual option is there.

I'm not certain about this, but I think all infantry smoke in the game is HC.

I've never seen infantry pop smoke defensively without my intervention, though.

Are the airborne's RG(smoke) represented (wouldn't seem to hard to let them "Target Smoke").

Neither have I, but vehicles do and that seems to be what he was referring to.

Good question.
