I had these two guys and they had a PF and being in a pinch I send them toward the tank in the wheat field. To my surprise they started throwing what looks like hand grenades. After 4 hits the tank is disabled. But what did they throw? As you can see the grenade count is 2 throughout the action. Is that some kind of abstraction? IIRC, there's a minor bug (or perhaps engine limitation, considering how long it's gone unfixed) in WEGO where grenades thrown during a turn are immediately discounted off the unit's count at the top of the movie turn. Or maybe it's the other way around -- that thrown grenades are not discounted until the end of the turn (in which case this couldn't explain your situation). I can't remember which way it goes; been a while since I paid attention to this. Other possibility is ammo sharing, if there's a friendly unit within 2 action squares that has grenades. I have no knowledge about the ammo count issue but I believe the grenade throwing represents the infantry close assaulting the tank. xian Posted May 14, 2012 Share Posted May 14, 2012 I've mentioned this issue before on the forum - and YankeeDog is correct. Grenades are subtracted from the grenade count just prior to playback. If you had a save of the previous turn then you would see that grenade-throwers had the right number of grenades.
