I thought I needed the bitmap image in order to change the appearance of the log? I was planning on changing the color at both ends of one of the logs so that it would look more like a very old log or piece of wood and not a log from a freshly cut tree. I was thinking that if some dead wood was out in the fields instead of a freshly cut log from a tree it might look more realistic and get used more often.
