honjkirsen
Is there a reason no flamethrower weapons or the ability to set on fire buildings terrain are not modelled in the game? When designing scenarios is it possible to place damaged vehicles as overturned/flipped on side/smoke damaged/missing turrets? Can Bazooka's/shreks etc be fired from partially collapsed buildings? Can turrets on destroyed vehicles be 'adjusted' when designing a scen so they do not all appear uniform? will there be future modules released & if so would any of the above be taken into consideration? thanks

No damaged/overturned vehicles, although you can place upright 'knocked out' vehicles and vehicles that are on fire. As long as they are not considered to be 'inside' a complete building then they can fire. PIAT can already fire from within confines of a building. I'm not sure about the turret question but I'd guess that is a no at the moment. I have heard BFC say they do eventually want to implement some sort of visible damage/decal structure on vehicles. There are plenty of things to come for WWII fans - next module for this current game will be Market Garden I believe. Then there will be a final 'funnies' module. After that there will be a new Bulge base game with modules. Finally there will be a brand new Eastern Front game with modules.
Chris Ferrous
Just an idea for rotated damaged tank hulks:- Have you tried placing a live tank, facing it in 3D set-up, and then destroying it in the editor?
RockinHarry
Just an idea for rotated damaged tank hulks:- Have you tried placing a live tank, facing it in 3D set-up, and then destroying it in the editor? ...means Vehicle Status = Ok, immobilized, destroyed, burning...though you can´t flip hulls to the side, nor top down. Placing these in a large bomb crater, known mine field or amidst other debris, gives a nice effect though, particularly burning stuff in low light conditions.
honjkirsen
Thanks for the replies, I suppose it would be a nice wish list to include more realistic damaged units, burning terrain & i certainly don't know how difficult it would be to implement but another whim of mine would be to include AA units in the game and, perhaps, the odd aircraft swooping low after a straffing run. That said, it is a fantastic game & the money is the bank waiting for the next module! thanks
phil stanbridge
I presume you have the commonwealth module?
A Canadian Cat
As long as they are not considered to be 'inside' a complete building then they can fire. I remember reading that Shreks and Bazookas cannot be fired from a totally destroyed building either. I searched but could not find the thread. Can any one confirm my memory?
