Campaign design question

Depends what you set your win threshold at but it comes down to "Next battle if Win," or "Next battle if Lose."

So I'm seeing only two paths max. You could design it as a TOTAL VICTORY goes on to a particular scenario and everything else from MAJOR VICTORY and below takes the alternate next battle. But it comes down to 2 alternate scenarios.

Hope I have this right.... second opinion please.

Okay, so one could make a campaign for example where ONLY if you get a Total Victory do you progress to the next mission "A". For ALL other results, you go to mission "B".

Correct. And you decide where to draw the line for the win threshold.

[WIN THRESHOLD] total defeat, major defeat, tactical defeat, minor defeat, draw, minor victory, tactical victory, major victory, total victory

Yes. There's already one fine example called 'The Scottish Corridor'. ;) You need to get a Major Victory or better to go up a level in the test missions. Any lesser win or a loss and you will stay at the same level.
