MisterMark
Does anyone know for sure if your infantry are more protected positioned behind a vehicle? And does it make a difference weather the vehicle is damaged or undamaged? Thank you, Mark
Kommissar
If the vehicle is physically blocking the shots, then yes. Be careful though, as in my experience (I don't know if this actually modelled in the game), I find that guys seem to get hit more often by ricochets when they're near a vehicle. I don't think the vehicle damage matters.
gunnersman
Yes, vehicles of any kind provide cover and concealment. It does not matter if the vehicle is fully operational, immobilized or a burning hulk (which might have live rounds that WILL cook off...so stay away ). However a Tiger's 88mm round will still pass clean through a Sherman's armor.
