Battlefront is now Slitherine ×

Could this be fixed at some point ?

I'm currently running a CMBN operation as an umpire, and any fortifications a player constructs on the operational map their CM equivalents are placed by the defending player on the CM map prior to me setting up the CM battle for that operational area.

The idea i had was to allow the defending player to place their CM fortifications so they would remain in the exact positions for that map throughout the operation by creating a master map (2000m x 2000m) and placing the defenders CM deployment zone in the centre, then once the defending player places their fortifications i was going save that map as a master map and trim it down to fit the amount and direction of any attacking forces set up zones.

However i just discovered that the foxholes one of the players placed were moved when the map was trimmed from a 2000 x 2000m map to a 1500 x 1000m map, there is a work around for it by taking a screenshot of the positions of fortifications for future reference but it would make my life easier if it would possible to fix it so any placed fortifications do not move if the map size is changed.

noob, were the foxholes put into a painted set-up zone? Have you tried setting the up in an unpainted zone. For AI plans, that works. But I forget whether it does or not for regular (blue/red) map setup zones.

Good idea, but it didn't work :(
