About 300km left till they reach Oka, this is going to be the critical moment. I wonder how well prepared are they for the contingency of bridges being blown up? If you believe reports of some Army units joining them, perhaps they might have enough forces to try to encircle the city? Forcing the river and establishing a pontoon crossing sounds really really crazy, but at this point I'm willing to believe in almost anything...

Yup, from UA perspective the best outcome is this thing dragging on long enough so that RU army units in Ukraine have to be involved. There are some reports about significant progress happening in Bakhmut already, but I think something big is going to happen at the southern front very soon. Another thought - what Prig army is doing at the moment seems like the perfect environment for using Battalion Tactical Groups, doesn't it?

Apart from Surovikin, reportedly FSB itself issued a call to not carry on criminal Wagner orders, but to apprehend Prig and hand him to authorities. A smell of fear seems to be more and more distinct...
