They decided to go to Hawaii for that one.
Extremely poor decision.

Are you leaving forces in the green areas and making sure there isn't a single enemy?

John Hopkins has a good tracking page and zero alarmism.

P.S. Besides most of a tank crew's time is spent outside the tank.
Blasphemy. Death before dismount is the unofficial motto.

They are fun but slow on the highway. And way way way too cold to drive in the WY winter when it'd be the most useful!

I hear ya. I just watched some Russians pull a T34 out of a swamp. Cleaned it up and got it running. Maybe the video was here. I was really impressed. On the flip side I've got a 73 Steyr Pinzgauer (Austrian not German engineering...former Swiss Army) that fires up and tears up the WY countryside every Spring. Zero maint. Not bad for a nearly 50 year old German(ic) military vehicle.

So it looks like we have a gift from China this winter, namely a new virus. I pretty much spent the weekend reading everything I could. I followed the previous scare mongering with Ebola and SARS and the rest but this seems different. While the numbers aren't impressive China's reaction to it is sure something. Any one out there concerned?

T34s are still being fired up on youtube. Panthers couldn't make it 100 miles w/o mechanical issues. You may want to think about that last sentence.

So what you're saying is that you're still missing Italy and Russia...

We used to joke that MI had a wheel they'd spin everyday. 'Be on the lookout for a yellow Subaru containing Muhamad Muhamad Ali.' Name and cars were always different.

No they come out and deliver what they're going to give you. IDK how much that would breakdown in a major conflict.

Tactical swiftness is exactly why it's needed.

I've heard 1917 is amazing and I want to see it, but from the people who have seen it - do you think it is watchable for veterans?
I know we have some other vets on the forum, and I remember how seeing Dunkirk in IMAX was just about the worst thing I could have done for my PTSD.
You'll be fine Doug. Just got back from seeing it with the family. Wife jumped a couple times. While there's destruction everywhere there is very little killing.

You fanatics are awesome.

There just needs to be a main drag through the first village.

Velocity on a HEAT warhead shouldn't effect penetration.

well requested anyway. Big battle. I'll play the weaker force...Rus if you want the US, Ukraine if you want the Russians. Big rough map (I know what happens in the open) and lots of points.

I just got my kid CMFI. I had him set up an account and give me his password then I went and bought it for him. That way he can always go and redownload without issues. Now if I could get him off Conan and finishing his turn it would be perfect.

Thank you all for putting up with my venting. I've got BS and you are right about the Mk19s. Mk19s should be interchangeable w .50s. I'll quit my crying...for now!

That is impressive

I see a defense of the (modern) system from people that are very well read and highly educated...I mean no offense. If there is someone else with RL RPG experience by all means put me in my place....I do suspect however they will agree with my assertion.
