 Oh man, the  War Movie ADVANCED mode v1 ones left me speechless, that's beyond gorgeous.

Is there a smoke mod in your  FXShine CMRT v201 by BarbaricCo shots?

No this just an update of Aris's dust smoke file by my own.

Here you can see some screens with CMRT winter mod shader by BarbaricCo

Like it, Worghern. Closer match sky to ground, as less light in the sky.

    Thank you Peter ;)

I change the hue sky below. The mod is not released yet, here we have the next update ! :D

    -new sky

    -new clouds

....to match with autumn, cold and winter weather in a clear sky.

  4. Bodybag, perhaps this way will respond (I hope, at least, a little bit) to your expectations. As you can see, it's more like an autumn sky and the hot colors in the sky harmonizing more with the ground. It's not bad but have to test some other things...

I find the "reshade" makes the image look "grainy" - like you can see the pixels.

This is due to lumasharpen and filmgrain options. Just edit the SweetFX_settings.txt and change the line corresponding from 1 to 0.

I have some good news. Mod was sent to Shane Greer from cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net. You'll be able to download it tomorrow afternoon (if all goes well) ;)

I consider this release as BETA version because I have other plans for the future. But, as I didn't want to make you languish too long and I think you can enjoy it right now, so I decided to share it immediately. I count on you to report bugs you may encounter. Meanwhile, I wish you good fun, to send me beautiful screens and beautiful videos. I know there are some of you who realize great things about it, so don't hesitate!

Great work, but it's too dark for my taste.

If you have a bright, blue sky like that, the ground and vegetation looks way to dark and filled with shadows. Your tree-trunks are almost black.

    Just my opinion...

This is just a test with the clouds made by Aris. That's a good point, however, as the original version of the game, the light operates at an angle but will not boot on another. I do not pretend to transform the game. I was clear about that, if you read the messages from the beginning, I proposed just to realise an alternative. However, I will rework the alphas to offer something more suited to autumn colors.

This may depend on your screen too; its quality, its age, its technology, its options, etc....Nothing prevents you to adjust the gamma in. Finally, I use a Reshade optimized version I will add with package; test it at your own tastes. You could use it, or not. BTW, this is the version of Reshade I have optimized for Battle for Normandy. I will adjust it for Final Blitzkrieg ;)

    Now make your choice ;)

Looks ever so good. The trees did you do any adjustment to to the alpha channels?

I had begun to alter alpha channels on winter textures but I understood that it would take too long to resolve. So I have not touched the alphas or very little. I focused on the material, detail and colorimetry.

Thank you very much everyone for your support :)

Disagree.CM is not "nothing without it's modders"ALL the  praise for the modders and all their hard work, but CM out of the box(unmodded) is a great game,  the relationship is mutual, they mod because they love CM, without CM there is nothing. They enhance, improve the astetics of the game. You can't mod the engine.

For sure Battlefront's CM is a great license, even without mods. Hafer let talking his enthusiasm about it. I appreciate its support. We all share the same passion here. I'm playing it since the very begining beta of CM1 and all wargamers we are, don't doubt about great qualities of the game.

I too have probs with the moire pattern, and find that altering the anistropic settings to 16x etc doesn't get rid of it.  Your mod looks superb, Worghern, and it would be great if you could do a version of the ploughed fields that would be without a pattern that led to that dizzying, swirling effect. I'm happy with clay courts, as you say. Kieme's mod (which I have in RT) doesn't work with the snowy ploughed fields I assume, Harry?

    Peter

Thanks for the kind words Peter. I'll do my best. In the current state, I greatly reduce this effect, as I stated above, while maintaining the appearance of a plowed field. I will show you some pictures later;)

Yes, the moiré pattern. Did try with NVidia CPL the various AF settings some time ago, yet results weren´t satisfying unfortunately. Since then I´ve settled with Kieme´s No Distortion mod, which does the purpose quite perfectly for me. :)

Between us, it's a detail (and I know, details make it all)....If you like plowed field, you'll get an effect of "moire" (although it can be reduced), or you want the clay courts and you don't have one...I have reduced it but, as I said, I couldn't make it completely disapear ;) You have to use AF 16x to reduce it to the maximum.
