  1. It was OK. Looking forward to more US side single battles.

Saw tons of German troops with tripod MGs

Saw no vickers  HMG teams for the british map after map only rookie soldiers with brens and noob bren carriers that shot 6 rounds a minute. faust, and panzershrek fodder.

Palying kleve easy campaign and not enjoying it as british. as we go back to why there are no HMG teams for the british just a couple rounds a minute bren fire, but most will run away from even pistol fire.

  2. I honestly think the Locust did OK in the most recent battle I used them, slightly better than a M8 greyhound maybe and you can use it a bit closer, for there is no open top. Periscope for all 3 crew members in the tank and gyro for on the move accurate firing. I think spotting should be a little bit better in game. The locust gun isn't all that good but it does what you want to with half tracks and armored cars. Canister for clearing tough areas. Armor is terrible out of cover, but moving fast around edges of forests and hedges works good. Low profile made it hard to hit by soldier launched AT weapons my losses were all by AA/AT guns. Use to support troops or to soften up buildings and dense fortifications.

Well it created empty folders for CMFB.  Its never been installed on this PC.  When I installed through Steam, it created them.

I am not using steam version. I also had this problem but it created empty desktop folders inside the game directory. Weird huh? All were 0kb and I removed them, was afraid I would delete BF stuff.

  4. Ok maybe the designer based play ability of a lower skill set, I have played and beat all the combat mission WW2 games on veteran level. Win by the skin of my teeth sometimes and other times won big.  This is almost like a beach landing. but with no tanks or heavy machine guns for the allies. There is no cover and the cover you do manage to find is worse than what the enemy is using while waiting in ambush.

  5. Playing as veteran. First off the battle is labeled as medium, it is LARGE. I have spent countless hours as allies on wasps nests and taken 3 areas over successfully and still minor defeat. There are no tactics involved allies have no cover rushing into MG-42 and STG-44 nests (one greenhorn STG-44 nest took 32 guys down) The author really has to rethink a fair point system and not making it totally one sided also please  allow us to use simple tactics, instead of something like dragging all our troops forward before time runs out.

I'm really enjoying the module for Final BlitzKrieg but have a question on whether the pintle mounted 50cal MGs on the Pershing and some late war Shermans are usable.  I've run several tests trying to get the 50cals to fire.  I've tried target light with tank unbuttoned, buttoned, and even a squad of tank riders.  In all cases, no graphic of the 50 cal firing nor does the 50cal ammo count ever decrease.  Are these unusable currently or am I just doing something wrong?

Forget using open up command you'll get mp40 sniped.

  7. I think I know the problem, You may not be able to hear this, it is high hertz tone.

    Try This:

    Load UP CMFI

    select Battle

select Lemon Hill (about 13th down)

    click fight

    click allies

    select section HQ

before the game starts have them do a fire mission for 75mm howitzers in the far right hand NE corner of the map.

You will hear the modern radio tone at the beginning of the artillery crews radio response back to HQ

Some peoples hearing may not be able to pick up this tone(including patch authors) I have excellent hearing. It is a high pitch hertz tone, but it is there 100%.

I think I understand what you mean. I had rezexploded the new brz that came with the patch. I always am poking my nose in those files. I don't see any sound files in there at all.

So, not sure how it "came back" for you. You're just lucky I guess! :D

I don't care what you used to not see something that Is there. :D
