  1. Thanks! :P

In all seriousness I'm really looking forward to seeing how it plays out, as while the current camera functions and I'm sure I could get used to it seeing as I like making CM video AARs a camera that I'm more comfortable with can't hurt! Between the first person and the strategy it appears you have put in a lot of effort to give us that choice.

  2. Personally I can't wait for the moments that go something like this:

"Ah yes, I hear a plane. Perfect timing, now these German Dogs will feel the wrath of airborne pain! NOOO! STOP! STOOP! My Beautiful army! So much blood, my poor brave Russians.."

But then I am a massive masochist.

  3. Hey, I think its mostly because the military videos either are too niche of a gaming corner to have that many folks making videos and therefore gaining access to advertising revenue capability, or that they choose to keep their videos ad free. As I use my channel as something to help fund my hardware purchases while I'm still at university I tend to put advertising on all of my videos.

Installing adblock is pretty simple and immediately gets rid of about 90% of online adverts, however for people like me it does cut into our income. It is a personal choice, I keep adblock off on youtube to help the guys I like, but I have it on on most other sites apart from Rock Paper Shotgun and a few others to keep giving them revenue.

  4. Hey, thanks for that feedback! I have used the same method of recording for part two:

Please note that part two isn't such a resounding success..

I haven't actually thought about it like that, right now recording a mission takes about just over two hours if I do it all in one big lump. I have a feeling it wouldn't actually push that time up by much if I tried to make it a little more cinematic. I'm intrigued and I think I shall give it a try for mission 3. If I find the time that is.. I am meant to be finishing my dissertation just now, god knows what will happen when RT comes out.

  5. The expression on an American face when they realise just what sort of mess they have got themselves into after going to the pub with a bunch of Scots (Irish/German/Russian work too, along with others..) is always priceless. It is a mixture of a sort of nauseated horror at the mention of "another round!" coupled with a despairing look at the mound of empty glassware on the table and a half full pint of cheap liver-killer still in hand...

Oh I love my country dearly, but if Tenants and Foster up and exploded the national health would improve massively.

  6. Not surprising, coming from a race that considers a pig's stomach filled with oats the height of culinary excellence.

    :D

    Michael

There, fixed that for you. Its actually an incredibly tasty dish. There is an amazing set of cafe things in Edinburgh called "Oink" which basically sell roasted pork (no kidding, when you walk into the shop you can see the entire pig sitting in the window and watch them carve from it). One of the best sides you can have on your meat role is Haggis. Those two go together like sex.

I did it! I actually did it! WEGO (thats the minute turn-based system right?) and Iron skill level on the first mission from Road to Nijmegen Campaign!

Yes I know all of you lot have done this in half the time with double the results, but you have to understand I'm really, really bad at combat mission..

    Now for the gloriousss proof:

Any improvements and or suggestions would be very welcome, I intend to keep putting combat mission videos up when I can.

  8. Ooooooogrgh.

Lets sail around the world and find a nice uninhabited place to call "New Canada". We shall be better than the old Canada! Old Canada wouldn't let me bring friends over to dinner, and they wouldn't let me eat all the sausage and maple sauce I want, and they wouldn't let me eat chips gravy and cheese! So in my new and therefore better Canada all these things shall be free!

    Sorry

We aren't trying to break up the UK, some of us are asking if that would be the right decision or not. I mean technically from a historical standpoint Scotland was a free nation so trying to become one again would be more "true Scottish", kinda. Please note I'm not saying independence is the right way to go, I shall not touch that debate for fear of combustion.

Well seeing as Golf was apparently developed in Scotland around the same time period its a pretty murky area..

Oh and stop claiming that it was you guys who burned down the old White House, it was some English Marines!

  9. I know next to nothing about Canada..

But bring on the Scottish challenge mate!

    1. Gaelic is considered to be a dead language! While John-o-Groats is the northernmost part of mainland Scotland, you shall have to travel to the Isles to find the real old Gaelic Scot. Head up to Harris or Lewis and engage the locals in conversation!

    2. And Golf, we invented that. Boom. We are also well respected as the best elephant polo players around the world.

    3. Our "Currys" really aren't all that Indian. A western "curry" is something we kind of invented, real Indian food is different but equally as awesome. But yes we also do pretty much any unhealthy food to perfection..

    4. I live in Edinburgh! I know where the Forth is! And there are two bridges by that name! The Forth Road Bridge and the Forth Rail Bridge (I abseiled off the latter once, was pretty epic).

Urrghhh You Canadians don't even do food right. Everyone else looks at pancakes and goes, hmmm yummy lets slap a bunch of sweet things on it and make it delicious! Then you crazed lumberjacks turn up and say ooo we have the perfect syrup for this! And you know what would make it even better?

    Sausages.

    What?

    WHAT?

    WHAT!?
