  1. There were several videos of M113 in frontline zone, moving on the roads, but no combat video with them. I even can't say what units equipped with them.
  2. Russians wrote they approached to "former AD unit" (Zenit). This is fortified position, famous since 2015, and it losing would be have huge resonanse in UKR social media. But nothing of this happened. On the satellite map is visible some position between Spartak and SE part of Opytne No, this was several days ago, not today or yestarday
  3. Ukrainian M113s What vehicle appeared on 0:06?
  4. About Opytne - DPR troops some days ago used UR-77 charge for assaulting unnamed "UKR strongpoint" near this village. Their assault after this strike was successful, so according our unofficial reports, DPR troops either approached close to Opytne, or even seized it south-eastern part. Looks like this attack was from Spartak settlement.
  5. Very interesting news of our General Staff: "The enemy has conducted an attempt to improve of tactical posiotion near Staryi Karavan village, hasn't success and withdrew" This village is on the eastrn side of Siverskyi Donets river on Lyman direction. There was no official information about any UKR movements in that direction, except the info of volunteer Yuriy Biriukov, which wrote in FB on 14th of Aug, that "AFU libereated a village in Donetsk oblast". He uploaded photos from liberated village with captured ATGMs and Z-marked mini-bus and small video in commnents, where UKR squad encountered Russian positions in the house and began to do outflank maneuver: https://www.facebook.com/yuri.biriukov/posts/pfbid0CRULFz5EY92Hwe6jtunnpAJ6eVDr2Q2UM38yEF8i3eGfEF1MNKderWvESSJMiMkUl People quickly geolocated this video as filmed in Brusivka village across the Siverskyi Donets. But no further info since this time neither official, nor in twitters or TG. Looks like some SOF or volunteer units seized bridghead in Brusivka and UKR forces has been trying to expand bridghead to advance to Lyman. Since capable Russian forces of Eastern Military District moved all to South, Russians lost some ground on Izium axis and Lyman direction became completely quiet. Looks like some "oblast volunteer battalions" or something like this defended this area (but I can be wrong), so UKR troops could launch some local operation in this area. Lets see for developments...
  6. Russians hit with unkown in present time missile (or missiles) railroad station Chaplyne in Dnipropetrovsk oblast. Passenger train was hit, four passenger cars were struck. In present time knowingly about 15 dead (among them 11 y.o kid) and about 50 wounded.
  7. @sburke Lt.colonel Sergey Privalov, killed on 17th of June. Unit unknown.
  8. Likely SOF or recons, or maybe ATGM-team on the buggy with mounted Milan ATGM Buggy is enough popular in our troops, though have own specific and pick-ups by the way are more universal. But some units order them. There are several "garage-factories" produce buggies in small series, but one of them proven own success. Self-employed metalworks specialist Volodymyr Sadyk from Chernivtsi oblast, which has also a hobby of buggy designing for his kids. Whith start of the war has launched manufacturing of several buggy types under own trademark VOLS. Volunteer fund of Serhiy Prytula has been ordering theese buggy for troops and VOLS vehicles got very good feedback. Cheapest model cost about 5000$. Already dozens of VOLS in service. On the photo Sadyk (right), his doughter Melisa - his "marketing department" and Serhiy Prytula (the guy, who raised 600 millions and bought the SAR satellite) on background of his cars Early VOLS model with light Korsar ATGM Later VOLS
  9. Thanks for maps, Mashovets is writing too much and I just have no time now to translate his observations. Though there are some suspicios, he and DefMon takes info from one another and not always 100 % verified, but indeed nobody can do better (except General Staff, of course ) I need to add from his older materials, which I couldn't post here. Russians moved to southern front BTGs of 35th CAA and placed them initially in Energodar area - in the "dead end". Also units of 5th CAA were placed also on left bank of the Dnieper between Oleshki and Nova Kahovka. They also moved here about 6 BTGs of PMC from Bakmut area and placed them on Vasylivka and some eastern together with about 2 BTGs of 46th Rosgvardia operative brigade from Chechnya. Russian VDV forces, moved from Bakhmut and Izium directions also mostly were placed on the left bank (execpt one BTG of 76th air-assault division) close to Dnieper. This created some "uncertainity" - where Russians will attack? Mykolaiv? Zaporizhzhia? Kryvyi Rih? By opinion of Mashovets we should to track the 35th CAA movements - by strange coincidence, exactly this army was on the spearhead of offensives on Kyiv and later on Izium direction. And exactly command of this army better assessed situation and make war more agressive, having success (especially on Izium axis). So, looks like Russian SVO Command considered 35th army (and troops of Eastren Military District in whole) as more capable to complete tasks. So, in last days first BTG of 64th MRB (Bucha murderers) of 35th Army crossed the Dnieper and was threw in the battle near Snihurivka. Today some Russian TG channels claimed Russian troops launched offensive with objectives to take Mykolaiv and even Ochakiv (!) PS. On your map Blahodatne village should be marked by red color. Russians assaulted it already three times during a week or maybe two, and likely after 35th CAA elements appearing, they managed gradually to take the village. Two days ago was a report about their "partial success" on southern part of village. Yestarday - the same. Today - "UKR troops destroiyed enemy ammo dump in Blahodatne" (though there are two other Blahodatne in this area). Blahodatne defended elements of 63rd mech.brigade of Reserve Corps.
  10. First video of TB2 ground target strike since the spring. Reportedly this is Bayraktar, crowdfunded by Lithuania. The ordnance hit a box with ammunitions or powder charges (oe mayby empty box). Interesting, that the man near the box survived the explosion and could move away. Probably on adrenaline, but...
  11. Our pilots already have more 100 sorties each for 6 months of war and if we take CAS jets - Su-25, we lost 9 visually confirmed Su for this time and two Mi-24 (I suppose we lost more choppers, but anyway this is not catastrophical losses in front of the face of Russian AD). Is this too much? Especially in first two months, when Russian fighters flew in our airspace. A-10 has more optoins for guided weapon, so can be very useful. As variant even Tucano would be very good as alternative of "MLRS style" firing of helicopters
  12. @sburke Major Andrey Meshcheriakov, SOBR police detachmnet of Khabarovsk region. Got lost on 25th of May
  13. Lack of infantry appears not only in 30-60% of companies headcount. Russian forces suffered lack in number of tactical units for huge lenghth of front. Numerous volunteer battalions, establishing in Russian oblasts are more suitable for "second line" service or on minor directions. But even they have been suffering losses so far. Russia has been forming strategical reserve - 3rd Army Corps in Mulino, but couldn't recruit 100 % of need personnel from reservists and volunteers and was forced to begin of transfering of Corps units to frontline now. Also in Belgorod oblast Russian operative reserve - 144th MRD almost of full-strength was deployed long time without movement. This caused anxiety, Russians keep this division for offensive on Kharkiv, but now this division already "unpacked" too and its first BTGs went to front. So, "unpacking" by Russians own strategical and opertive reserves shows they really have a lack of infantry even for defense of seized territories
  14. During the day several cases of Russian AD work in Crimea: 1. Bakhchisaray district - reportedly three explosions in the air near Verkhorichchia (rus.Verkhorechye) village. Strange place, because if drone should be strike ammunition dumps and flew from NW, then it flew 5 km further. There are two ammo dumps here - one in the old caves, other on open place near Kudrino village nearby to Verkhorichchia. Fragments of something - either destroyed UAV, or missile. 2. Yevpatoriya area - Zaozerne and Moloche villages. Several launches during the day 3. Cape Tarkhankut area (western Crimea), Olenivka village (rus.Yelenovka). Big SAM site placed NW not far from from Olenivka
  15. I hope this video of turret spacelaunch will make you more happy )
  16. Destroying of Russian 1L260 Zoopark-1M counter battery complex (1L259 radar vehicle on MTLB base and 1I30 maintenance vehicle on Ural base). Zaporizhzhia oblast Interesting, that first hit was directly at antenna - maybe HARM, and then artillery strike. But mayby all explosions have one origin - HIMARS by coordinates? Upd. Too short for HARM
  17. Russia wanted own parade in Kyiv. Ok, they got it. On the eve of Independence Day (24th Aug) an exposition of destroyed Russian vehicies was placed like "parade order" on Khreshchatyk - the main street of Kyiv
  18. The drone, which struck Black Sea HQ was filmed - as I told yesterday, this is the same type of drone, which hit refinery in Rostov oblast of Russia two months ago. More likely this is Chineese Mugen-5 or the local assembled drone, based on this type and turned out into kamikadze drone. Mugen-5 Pro can fly 7 hours and take up to 15-20 kg of payload. There is no info about the range, but looks like it at least 200 km.This UAV made from carbone, so it's more harder for radars to detect it. Depending on options the cost of this drone can be from 10000$ to 24000$ https://www.muginuav.com/product/mugin-5-pro-5000mm-carbon-fiber-uav-platform/
  19. Ukriane has Tu-141 with range 1000 km and Tu-143 with range 180 km. Unknown how much. They, of course, can reach Crimea, but they both are jet UAVs, so should be heard in the sky as jets. I don't know what locals wrote about this.
  20. Hm... On the background of assunption of this article about 2-seat combat trainers MiG-29UB for "Wild Vessel" role - there was a news about funerals ot two pilots of MiG-29, being lost approx on 8th of Aug. Maybe it was their unsuccesful SEAD mission... But maybe it was two different losses... Captain (mayor posthumuosly) Anton Lystopad, 204th tactical aviation brigade (but maybe mistake - he lived in Ivamo-Frankovsk, the home of 114th tactical aviation brigade and second lost pilot also served in 114th). Was aworded as best pilot of 2019 year. A month ago they already was hit, but could landed on one working engine. The 100th sortie turned out fatal... Colonel Yuriy Pohorilyi. In 2015-2018 was a commander of 114th Tactical Aviation brigade (also MiG-29), before this served in 299th Tactical Aviation brigade (Su-25, L-39). Current unit and duty unknown.
  21. Intel gathering, AD reaction tests, PsyOps (There is a lot of "uncertaininty" in Crimean publics). I think with crowdfunded bought SAR satellite we will have more information. I wonder what type of drones we are using... I this drones, of course... There are several types of UKR-developed drones can fly over 200 km: UJ-22, PD-2, ACS-3. Theese frones in limited numbers are using in army now. But they enough expensive in cost (not Bayraktars, of course, but they developed as dual purpose - for recon and strike), so just waste PD-2 for decoy role.... But we have example when two probably Chineese commercial long-range drones Mugin-5 from AliExpres equipped with HE, hit rafinery in Russia two months ago (170 km from frontline), so maybe we have some fleet of similar birds to tease Russian AD
  22. Orlan-10 was shot down or jammed and had time to throw parachute. Despite on damages of UAV, Canon photo camera, built-in Orlan, turned out quite usable
  23. UKR forces continuing probes on Crimean air defense Yevpatoria. SAM launch - something hit or this is fragment of missile. Locals write about three booms. Sevastopol - locals write they heard three explosions in the sky. The photo of launch Kerch. Reportedly air defense is working. No photo-video yet HIMARS time. Nova Kakhovka
  24. I read in several cases Javs could hit targets further than claimed 2500 m. As I can recall, what wrote our soures, absolute recrord is 3400+ m successful launch at Russian tank.
  25. Exhausting of D-30 barrels of air-assault units. Usually such brigade has battalion of 122 mm D-30 and battalion of 122 mm 2S1. Looks like the place of D-30 now will be substituted for 105 mm. Also 105 mm L119 is more suitable for modern air-assault troops.
