Some very nice screens, the vehicles, equipment and soldiers are all top notch looking. Very cool. BTW I noticed someone left the anti aliasing off...again. LOL. It's like a tradition.

Glad to hear there's gonna be a demo. I was blind sided by the "no later than the end of September" announcement. So, four missions to screw around with until then will be great and help ease the pain!

    Mord.

Yeah, why is the antialiasing off, looks worse that way. :D

  2. There are some typos in the text that I spotted when I was reading about the game and its modules on my phone but skimming over it now that I am on my comp I can't spot them, eh.

Will the whole game bundle with all the modules still be discounted after the pre-order time is over?

Also will the game launch with fixed unit behaviour that is plaguing current games?

It's reported already. Not that its bad that you posted about it, just reminding you that nearly everyone else was there first :D

Oh well, I will make myslef useful and shut up then. Before I do that there is a typo in how Gustav Line product is described as "Currently v4.00 (Game Engine 4)". Shouldn't it be "Currently v2.00 (Game Engine 4), right? Anyone else reported that? or the fact that Screenshot gallery2 for gustav line is empty? :D

Than somehow your DNS didn't update yet, for which there might be various reasons. You can try changing your nameservers to 1.1.1.1, see https://1.1.1.1/. Google also has nameservers available if you don't mind them. Another option is to try to flushdns, but this will only work if the caching is local.
The last option is to just wait, probably it will fix itself today or tomorrow.

Ok, thank you. I shall wait then.

@Hister I highly recommend an overclockable i5/i7. I saw a HUGE increase in performance when overclocking from 3.3Ghz to 4.6. It is 100% worth the price if your main focus in gaming is CM.

Aha! So good to know, thank you! This conflicts with CptMillers statement though but I want to believe you. i5 8400 is off then because I finally want to be able to play the CM games in a decent manner and also hav some headroom for the future. i7 8700K overclocked to 4,7MHz here I come! :D

No problem, just be aware that you need a modern motherboard, (I got an MSI 360M series) and that these new motherboards generally only support DDR4 RAM. But as long as you're compatible you shouldn't have any issues running CM.

Yes, I am aware of the hardware incompatibilities, thank you.

  7. Battlefront's most common ETA is: "When it's done it's done." Other ETA's include only approximate release windows but those are often not met and stuff gets released with a delay usually (small team and quality over quantity mentality). Also, when dev Steven says "soon" expect at least a couple of months for that "soon" to materialize.

My estimate based on the previous patch experience is that we will see a patch brought to our monitors in the time window of 1 to 2 months.

Good news is that life gives us all sorts of interesting things that we can pursue in-between periods Battlefront releasing their stuff. For example, I wanted to upgrade my comp in February 'cos smart people have said the GPU and DDR pricing will finally go down then. But it went up so much so that GPU's cost 3 times more then what I would have to pay just a few months ago. Thus no new comp for me until cryptocurrencies are done for or GPU manufacturers create GPU's specialized for crypto-mining or remove CUDA's from the gaming GPU's. So now I can bitch about that and forget that I have been waiting for the 4.0 patch ever since it was released... :D
