Correct, there are more new units in Gustav Line than Market Garden. And Commonwealth Module has more units than Gustav Line. But of course you look at things the wrong way. We should be charging $45 for Gustav Line and $50 for Commonwealth Module, not less for Market Garden. Of course I don't expect you to agree
Probably at least 1 or 2 this year, maybe more. And the list of items for those will be significantly less than Market Garden.
It is impossible to say that a Module or a Pack will only have x stuff and never more or less. Some Modules will have more than others. Some Packs will have more than others. But a Module will always have more than a Pack.

Will some packs come with 1 or 2 new scenarios? I really dont like quick battles they never play out good for me.

Are there any GL scenarios that have italians in them? I havent noticed any.

Most of what needs to be said has been said. But I'll make some things official
1. Eastern Front hasn't been ignored. The first installment is actually well along in development already.
2. If one were to look at wargames throughout wargaming history, the Italian campaign probably runs 4th to Western, Eastern, and North African campaigns in terms of game developer efforts. I think Fortress Italy is quite a breath of fresh air for gaming. Obviously not if you're a die hard Eastern Front fan
3. We are a game company and an important element in that is staying in business. Western Front is by far, by far, the most marketable part of WW2. I'd rather annoy a minority of our customer base by taking a while to get them what they want than to annoy the majority.
4. The Eastern Front is a huge, daunting task to cover. We absolutely must break it up into chunks or we'll never survive long enough to actually release the end product. Starting with 1944/45 makes the most amount of sense because we have a great body of stuff to work from already. Which means you get an Eastern Front game faster than you would if we did something like 1941. Probably 8-12 months sooner.
5. We will have lots of Modules and Packs for the Eastern Front. The amount of stuff to cover there is so vast it is unavoidable.
Note that all of this is coming from a guy whose primary interest in warfare has always been, and likely will always be, Eastern Front.

I know the line up for this year is already planned, but what do you guys think they will work on next? I personally would love a CM Korea or maybe even a fictional 1985 East vs west combat mission with Warsaw pact invading west germany

so whats the big deal about butt plates i would personally rather have a server browser... Most of my friends wont buy the game even though they like it simply since the online is a pain..

i know there are not any new italian things in gl but will we get more scenarios with italians? I really like the combined german italian scenarios

when i first started playing i didnt know about the preplanned arty strikes and i swear a whole platoon lost all of its officers they were the only ones that got killed and that whole platoon was useless

as far as i have played the whole squad has to die before you get a body. I wish they would remake this game on CMx2 engine with all the same units and countries... i would give them all of my money

Is there a mod for CMBB that every time a guy in a unit dies you can actually get a body on the map? im enjoying the game but the lack of bodies on the battlefield is annoying

I'm not too sure about the efficacy of using a box of grenades as protection between you and incoming fire.
I think he is resting his weapon on it not actually using it for cover lol

well what would be better to go for CMA or CMsf with all modules? If i get CMA i will prolly only play as soviets.. Also the units dont seem very detailed compared to the demo of cmsf i played or as detailed as they are in cmbn or cmfi. Which is a shame as i like the uniforms and what not to at least be mostly correct

Hi first off i know there is a CMA fourm area but its kinda dead and sad.. Anyway i was wondering is it worth 35 bucks? i played the demo but i wasnt sure plus the soviet uniforms shown in the demo almost looked like they were were from the 50s
i was expecting uniforms like the pics below

any good pics of the french forces at monte cassino or other battles i found some online but they just look like canadians or the poles another country armed with commonwealth weapons and uniforms... If so whats the point how many countries do we need using the same stuff?

I played the CMA demo and i thought the soviet troops looked kinda weird with those brown uniforms i was expecting them to be wearing something closer to what they wear in the movie 9th company
