  1. My non-authoritative impression (with no definitive documentation to back it up) is the change to yellow bars is an increased indication the attribute is less than optimum. If this is what the color change means, I find it unnecessary.

Thanks and I think you are indeed corrrect. I've seen some bars change to red as well but alas, nothing in the manual really explains this to the reader. Perhaps Battlefront or a beta tester could chime in and clear up the mystery?

  2. Personally, I've thought that a really nice feature for CMSF would be the ability to look at the unit window, right click on one of the infantry weapons (for example AKS-74) and open up a nice weapon information panel similar to what is done in the "Total War" series. The window would open up and you would get a nice in-game 3D picture of the weapon with informational text below explaining its strengths, weaknesses, range, main purpose of the weapon etc.

You would do this with all the weapons including the AFVs.

  3. Hi,

New to this series of combat mission and really enjoying it. Got a question though regarding the statistics panel for vehicles, HQs and HWs. I've looked in the manual but cannot find more detail.

Can anyone tell me how you read the "green bars" in the statistics panel for these units? Most of the time, the bars readout will be five full green all the way across, other times the bars will be 3 yellow across.

How is one supposed to read that? What data is it actually giving you?

    Thanks in advance.

  4. I have been finding myself playing "red side" more often than not. I would love a "red force module." Personally, I think Battlefront made a good choice with the initial red force as Syria. So many directions one can to based on the geographic location of the combat.

Would love to see an Israeli IDF module and Turkish module as well. Jordanian would be interesting as well. Could put together some rather interesting and variable situations and scenarios.
