Another item for the wishlist...I would like to see the included campaigns playable as EITHER side. Caen turned out to be a bit disappointing as you can only play as the Allies.
It has been already answered and justify on this forum.

So finish the adaptation of the allied campaign, I add 2 new tanks, from an uchronic lend lease program :
A french "firefly", with the CA 75mm Mle1917/34 (Schneider)
An AA gun, L53
A french "Achille", M10 with the CA 90 mm Mle1939 (Schneider)
Also another french AA gun, 20 was delivred in 1940... too late...

Here is the B2-ter, with 75mm L53 (Canon CA 75mm Mle1917/34 (Schneider), that was an AA gun)
And a 105mm for the hull :eek:
And the three brothers :
B2 (47mm L53 et 75mm L17)
B2-bis (75mm L34 and 75mm L17)
B2-ter (75mm L53 and 105mm)
Now, I need to make missions. But it is a lot of work.
So I wonder if I will adapt russian or allied or Gnasher campaign, by exchanging allied by french units :confused:

For the Churchill mark III-IV, I took this model (churchill VII) because it was the one I had...
For the range, I have to check, but I think that the true range is about 150m. 300m is a wrong indication. I will change this.
I remember that there was a sherman 105 in brittish army, used in Italy ?

You can use the one for TOW 1, as the files that are in the 'local/ru' directory are the same.
But I think you have to add some lines :
data\local\ru\ammo.utf8

The Churchills repeatedly disappear leaving only the grey icon & then reappear (I hadn't got the crews to them) but Daimlers were within 3m.
I think it is normal. The daimler can only look through "slit vision" (not sure of the english term). So if the turret for exemple, is not oriented towards the churchill, they really can't see them, even if they (and you) know that the churchills are here.
Some shell trails (orange lines) freeze on screen & stay visible - other things are moving OK.Maybe my vga drivers are a problem?
I have the same problem. I would say it is not linked with the mod (it appears for me between 2 armored cars, not with the churchill), but in an other hand, I never saw this before. I will think about it.

Forgive me for this omission, the same problem was underligned for the sherman 105mm for Afrika.
If you can prepare the russian files, I can integrate them in the mod. I think I need these files :
encdescription_artillery
encdescription_tanks
guns
items
units
But if you rename data/local/en in data/local/ru, all will be in english.

The "small mod" with Sherman 105, ATG 40mm and Churchill AVRE is ready.
There is on solo mission to test the Churchill AVRE.
It was not easy to make this mission, so feed back much apreciated... (does it works ?)

Sure, it is a lot of work to make a new unit from scratch.
Collision boxes and hooks are not the most difficult parts.
In this 3D model, there is no skin also.
I will think about this after holidays...
