  1. Here is the link for this "small mod", version 4.

    You need :

    TOW 2 Kursk + Caen

    and the mod : "Almost_Eastern_Wind_1_5_5_v_3_en"

    version 3 should be uninstalled.

    The "philosophy" of the "small mod" is to add one or two units at each version, and one single player mission to play them. And each new version will contain the previous one.

    So in this version, you have 2 single player missions, and 4 new units ! (and more in the read me file).

    I would like also to thank JohnW and Oberleutnant for their help !

    Did you encounter a new problem ? :confused:

    As map making takes a lot of time, it should be fine to have statics before the mod :)

    I forgot the 3dobj directory of the 75 :D

    So the mission "St Mere the crossroad" can't work !

    It is why I need people to test. There is always something missing...

    If the mission "take the bridge" is working, it means that the first par (a_small_mod_03) is fine inside this package. Thank you for the feedback :)

    I update the files, so you can DL again the mod (same link).

  4. The mod is for TOW 2 Caen + Eastern wind mod v3

    You have to uninstall a_small_mod_03_for_EWMv3, as it contains already it.

    Then, just play the solo mission "StMere The Crossroad".

    If it works, it means that the 2 new units (R35 and 75mm) are working fine, so I have not forget one file.

    Then, if the mission is too hard, or not clear, just tell, I will improve it

    The mod should work in english and in russian, although for the russian langage, texts added are in english.

  5. Yes, I can, but what are you doing, with which files, and for what expected results ? :confused:

    Damtexconverter is to be used at the end of the process, when you export a tank from TOW 1 to TOW 2-3.

    So have you finish that point ?

    Do you see the unit in the encyclopedy ?

    Does it works in game ?

    After that, you can try to make the damage icon ? (not necessary to check if the unit is working fine, for exemple, you can use any other icon of other unit))

  6. If you want to add new tanks, you have to master 3Dsmax, and much more.

    If you want only to modify units, that can be done without 3dsmax.

    For example, you can easily add the fiat 3000, by using the FT17.

    You can change the gun, the skin...

    A good exercise to understand how it works, before creating a full new unit.

  7. A lot of problem, but it works now :)

    I applied it to the B1 bis, just to check if dammage zones were displayed properly.

    So now, JohnW, if you have finished the conversion of the files from TOW 1 to TOW 2, we can finish this R35 :D

  8. I tried this tool.

    I have some little problem :confused:

    I created the dammage icon, and the rect file.

    But they are not corresponding.

    The main icon of the unit is located at pixel 1 141 (first column, line 141)

    You can see below on the picture that the big icon is at the bottom of the image

    But in the rect file, it is written :

    [DamageIconBig]

    TexRegion 1 1 147 114

    that means first line first column

    So in the game, it is not displayed correctly.

    Any ideas ? :(
