  1. I was bored and made some new turretnumbers for soviet tanks.

I someone want to use it download the file Gray2 and extract to 3dobj/Digits/rus.

Then you have to change the entry Gray to Gray2 in the skins.ini for every disered tank.

    Ex.:3dobj/tanks/rus/kv_1

    [Division_RusEmptyGray]

    Type Division

    Name RusEmptyGray

    DivisionComment _empty_

    Digits_Big 20 300 2 3

    DigitsBones_Big_A digit3_a1_rus digit3_a2_rus digit3_a3_rus

    DigitsMaterialsPath_Big 3dobj/digits/Rus/Gray2

    SignMaterial_Cross 3dobj/Markers/marker_rus.mat

    SignBones_Cross marker_1_rus

  2. Oudy,

did you put some markings on the Firefly?

I try out make them on the same way like for my british vehicles but no sucsess so far :(

Some other small things i've done:

changing the tracks to the T48 rubber chevron, delete the shawdows on the barrel and put a (fake)plate over the removed hull-mg.

  3. The 3d modell is copletely wrong.

Compared to to the staghound, wich should be longer and a bit higher, and all other vehicles the daimler is a real monster

    Staghound

    Weight 14 t

    Length 5.49 m

    Width 2.69 m

    Height 2.36 m

    Daimler

    Weight 7.6 t

    Length 4 m

    Width 2.46 m

    Height 2.26 m

How did you get the british markings correct? I played around with it for my Firefly but the front and back numbers were about 5 feet in front and back of the tank? I didn't spend too much time on it, but I wasn't able to get the front and back serial numbers to disappear.

    Oudy

For the signmaterial_T i create a new mat- and texturefile in the folder digits/usa/gray because the "real" britsch T doesnt work correct.

For the other numbers i use that:

    [Division_UkEmptyGray]

    Type Division

    Name UkEmptyGray

    DivisionComment _empty_

    SignMaterial_T 3dobj/digits/usa/Gray/t.mat

    SignBones_T sernum_ap_usa sernum_bp_usa

    Digits_Big 170000 199999 6

    DigitsBones_Big_A sernum_a1_usa sernum_a2_usa sernum_a3_usa sernum_a4_usa sernum_a5_usa sernum_a6_usa sernum_a7_usa

    DigitsBones_Big_B sernum_b1_usa sernum_b2_usa sernum_b3_usa sernum_b4_usa sernum_b5_usa sernum_b6_usa sernum_b7_usa

    DigitsMaterialsPath_Big 3dobj/digits/uk/Gray

It would be very nice to have alternate skins especially for British/Commonwealth units using American equipment. I'm thinking along the lines Shermans/Whites/M10s with British Army divisional markings.

I've made a british sherman but still have troubles with the markings, the numbers works fine but not the damn "T" letter :(
