  1. Thanks for your suggestions and sorry for side tracking the thread.

    I've settled on

A,S,D for Fast,Quick,Move Q,W,E for Hunt,Ass,Slow and R for Reverse. That way all the move keys are in a nice ordered bunch. All the others are in various suitable spots (T for target etc..)

  2. I don't play many MOUT games but I was wonderiing if this works both ways? Eg: if the center of one squad is out of LOS of another but a single soldier is in the other squads LOS will the other squad see that single soldier? If so you might have a rather large problem on your hands. Every soldier should have it's own LOS and LOF since having non-abstracted squads with abstracted LOS won't work in practice.

You mean, you have not yet remapped the hotkeys?!?!

    Please do so instantly!!!

    Best regards,

Actually on that note can some one upload or suggest a hotkey layout that works best? I can't seem to decide what to use.

  5. I've started playing SF again recently an I'm really enjoying it at the moment.

If you've not tried this it might be worth a look for some fun:

Play QB with Syrian vs Syrian with the QB map pack's maps, it's really fun because you get battles more like CMx1 games. No more magic IR picking off your units from a mile away just straight up combat.

Some things that could be fixed is more force customization in QB, a "fire weapon" command for just attacking with one weapon and the ability for units to move on their own when in danger or broken (added in surrendered routing units would be part of this).

  6. Ok I might aswell post three things that haven't been announced that I want in the addon now:

Quick battles with custom armies and objectives etc...

Force moral or something like that, so you don't have to hunt down every last unit to win.

Ummmmmm a Dynamic campaign is probably too much to ask, so how about infantry getting thrown through the air by large explosions?

  7. Why doesn't Battlefront just scrap the 8m action squares as they've been nothing but trouble. Get it down to 1ft and allot of the problems will be fixed, doesn't matter how much memory it takes as we can just turn down the graphics as they aren't what we bought the game for. If that's still not enough to make it run put back pre-round calculations for WEGO as a fix.

Also allowing us to choose forces for QB would add ALOT to replay value and that trumps realism every time.

  8. Just got my latest issue of PCPP yesterday and it had a review of CM:SF.

5/10... not very good considering they gave all the other CM games 95-100% scores.

    There key gripes were:

    Bad and unresponsive AI.

    Lack of the Righclick menu.

Interface being too clunky for RT.

No ability to customize forces in QB.

They said they patched to the latest version too.
