  1. Hi dmg Your understanding is correct. I first create a new mission and it CTD; I used an official mission replacing units and map and it CTD. This mission is (from Statistic Classification) 350 weight. I will reduce the Nb of Unit and "asleep" some more (I am still too much C.M minded ). By the way RAM size can't help? Thanks for your post
  2. Thanks for posting again What trick me is that the Description of Mission Triggers doesn't show any Trigger called Mtrsupport etc... (I stuck too much to the manual ) It needs a refresh Could we get a more up to date one if other triggers are missing ? Tx
  3. Hi Webwing I wanted to move a tank Unit. The trigger was a copy and past from the "Description Mission Trigger" (with new ID & Rect) and nothing has been reported as wrong by the Compiler Trigger. I made an other attempt by making a past and copy from another mission, double checking my Rect was the correct one and this time IT WORKDED. So whatever I did check my previous use of the "Desc. Mission Trigger" seems to be similar to the copy I use from the other mission, something doesn't work with this method. :confused: I am using as much as possible copy of trigger from "official" mission to avoid "no working status". Thanks for your post.
  4. Using mission editor I use triggers to get Artillery support. If I use Art support(105mm or 150mm) it works fine, but if I change only the Art to Mortar Support in the 03-Item nothing occurs :confused:

  6. I use the following tigger : RunCommand ( UNIT , 732 , STORM , RECT , “Rect-1” ) I use the UnitID 732 I found for the unit but nothing occurs. Only GROUP ObjectType is working ! :confused: Is the UnitId the correct ObjectID ? Tx
  7. In the player Army and in the Deployement level I can add Group but I can't add more than one unit in each Group. Why is it set as this ?
  8. Thanks for the quick reply. I at least see the "06- Attach" sub-menu but whatever the car (Sdkfz 7) or the pak are in sleep status or not,no list is displayed when I select it. :confused: On an other hand, passenger selection works.
  9. In the Mission editor (Not during battle) how can I set up already towed gun? I found this in some mission but didn't succeed in doing it by myself in my own created mission. :confused:
  10. Hi I am façing my first main issue with ToW. After editing a mission I launch it to check if the troup' set up was correct, just after the set up phase is completed and the message of available Art is send the game close without warning and comes back to windows desktop display My PC is as follow: OS:Win XP Home Sp2 Mobo: AsRock 939A8X-M CPU: AMD Ath64 2x 4400 MEM: 1Gb DDR MEM Single Channel Vid : Sappphire Radeon X800GTO 256Mb The Mission "weight" is: Army 1: 2 SPG, 9 Arm Car, 3 Car, 3 ATG, 2HMG, 4 Inf Det, 2 Art Support Army2: 8 Tank, 1 HMG, 12 Inf Det, 2 Art support Only two triggers, one for the setup and one for Art enable. Memory size limitation? Bug ? Thanks for tech support

  16. Won't it be possible (and easier to create for developpers) to have "Trench and/or Wire Units" available during the Disposition Mode of the mission ? They will become unmovable (like HMG) and unrotable when the Disposition Mode is finished. Trenches will be able to get passengers (1,4,8,12) depending on its size. These "Trench and/or Wire Units" will be selectionnable during the Units menu (Reserves/Deployment). For "Trench unit" camouflage and protection value will provided to passengers as "on-map-trenches" do.

  19. LOL Don't aggree, AI means Artificial Idiots. Did you check this damned Scout skill value ? I made a mission to test an AT squad vs Tank, and no scout value means almost "dead meat" as it penalize the others skills.
  20. So, use the Mission editor to give scout value to your men and have a look to the manuel about Scout skill: pages 60,61 &65.
