I mean that if an attcaking vheicle is hidden inside the objective area but without LOS of it, so that it can not attcak defending units should score points (i was thinking at your example of the secure bridge)
-
Ok is it possible that a scoring system proportional to each side unit in place to kick in when the first enemy unit enter the objective? so that i'll start with my 1000 points, defend from a tactical position w/o loosing points
is it possible that enemy units score points only if they are not crippled past combat readiness (unable to fire and/or move) and if they don't have los of my units?
because most of the time a crippled vheicle is not easy to pick from a dead one (and that's fine) and in some maps a shrike can hide in creeks where is probably stuck w/o beeing able to contribute to the fight and never the less score points

just realised there are different colors; does this mean that diffrent bots could assigned to a given color and they will follow that path?

got the same problemOriginally posted by Junglist:I've tried to join this server a few times but I keep getting the message about not having the scenario file. I have downloaded the pedestrian zone file and am able to play it in standalone so I'm a little confused. Any ideas as to what the problem is?

ammo should be deployed in pods, if a human could survive it, ammo could as well
-
excellent and also the idea of asymetric forces, you fight with what you have trying to exploit the pros and not to let exploit the cons
-
great improvement; voice commo it's been a little tricky on mac, always used to give out warnings pronto but I'd rather chat more complex things and now that we can draw them even better

whow mortar flashbang

wait the day you will leave :cool:Originally posted by B0nes:P.S. Staying in a hotel with a free self service bar. Fantasto!

only infantry and ammo should crash pod but I'd like to see a flashing dot on my screen plus may be a smoke trail
once you know where they are you can deal fairly with them

the demo, i was surprised when i saw it, is advertised at apple web siteOriginally posted by PredatorChimp:The Mac n Linux market may be small in comparison, but if the the demo was bundled or profiled via Apple it would make a BIG difference to the current community count. (plus think of all the fresh meat)
and welcome in the old continent

whow, clap clap clap!
that's a 200mm or what? would like to find my afv at the other end of that muzzle

drop pods are faster because they aren't reused so they could take far more damage entering the atmosphere
other than this we are anyways bound by practical reason to shrink dead times and there's also tactical manouvering involved, DS act also like chopper delivering forces in a 3D battlefield
sometimes i don't mind to sacrifice a 76 in a run against the side of the advancing enemy, taking at least one with me and leaviing a couple of others with some problems
-
pos i'm nut 100% sure but by the way they have been described you would collide with them
-
if i understood correctly you should have the gun as a separate piece anyways and you can give to it limited left and right movement, kind if a futuristic wespe http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wespe but with a better design
-
at least one is included on the server rotation

yep not a main priority but sometimes this has to be done or removed it altogetherOriginally posted by Alexander SquidLord Williams:The Viper controls need to be refined in a big, scary way. It also wouldn't hurt if it had a built-in 14mm gun like the one on the Bacchus to harass targets with.

since it's a los artillery why don't integrate the cannon barrel in the hunch that eventually should be a little higher?
ps: still waiting your little tutorial about map making on mac

just mentioned that because somebody was complaining about an hidden spot where bots seem to like to hide
