  7. Interestingly when Yamamoto was visiting the US, he was driving cross country. His car broke down in the middle of nowhere. A local woman fixed his car. At that moment he knew war with the US was gonna go south fast. I don’t think she was a farmer. Could have been though.
  8. If Russia isn’t participating can they just skip inspections?

  11. as I noted earlier, yes you do. The Russian student union at Stanford U has done events with the Ukrainian student union against the war. Is it a lot? No. To say there are none however is false. I am sure it isn't the only example in the US.
  12. The Russian and Ukrainian student societies at Stanford Univ held a joint rally against the war. It isn't that hard to find Russians who are actually not orcs. The problem is there are simply too few right now and it'll likely take a couple generations to truly alter the Russian mindset. Hell just look at the politics involved in history (and math.. and science for crying out loud) here in the US.
  13. tsk tsk.... CHEESESTEAKS. It isn't a lottery ticket. The other misspellings weren't as important.
  14. If I am understanding the earlier dissertations on the subject (which were really pretty awesome @CAZmaj. Wish I'd have had access to that years ago) it really has no significant impact on the numbers Russia can field however it acts as a pressure release valve for internal conflict within Russia. Accepting the 'refugees" actually prolongs the problem and doesn't help move it towards a resolution to fundamentally alter the Russian status quo.
  15. man we are in more trouble than I thought if Philly=US.... A man's (city) got to know his limitations..
  16. burke list... heh you know burke is a verb? burke verb burked; burking 1: to suppress quietly or indirectly burke an inquiry
  17. so much for Elvis recovery this week - Phillies are going to the series. Seems Steve will have to manage the timeout button for a while longer.
  18. No. My cat demonstrated how to limit TP use.... Too much information?
  19. Russia's problem isn't that there aren't men of age to fight. The problem is getting WILLING men to fight.
  20. Kind of like that Russian judge getting hit on Kerch bridge. When you draw the ace of spades your time is up.
  21. I think I'd have to understand better the Russian defensive fighting to really answer that. Around Kharkiv I don't think they performed any better as compared to Kherson - Kherson has better troops and better defense planning. That is already part of CM. Are you suggesting somehow a specific squad modification. That seems to go against the foundation of CM where you largely avoided (with the exception of Italians) any specific national modifier.
  22. one of the few things I am good for it seems.
  23. seems so. Interesting they neglected that bit of info in that article. dips***s.
