  1. saw this but this part cracked me up so basically they think the chances are low the Ukrainian gov't was involved cause they don't actually know anything. This one for example just means the Kremlin didn't know but doesn't mean some other Russians might. The article supposes a lot on very little info other than intercepts that indicate the Russians are confused.
  2. love the graffitti "Hello from Bakhmut" nice way to troll Russia on their own media.
  3. are you saying auto correct is not a fascist? I dunno sometimes it really feels oppressive.
  4. smoke is awfully white. Almost like steam. maybe the lighting, but it looks off.
  5. well I tend to cut them some slack. I mean there I am eating bacon and you KNOW they really want some of that bacon....
  6. anyone who thinks we don't have a fascist problem because folks won't take down their confederate flag to put up a nazi one does not understand that in America, that confederate flag IS the nazi one. Not specially a response to your comment Steve, but just to point out for folks that think Americans don't blatantly display fascist trappings ought to think twice. Getting this back to Ukraine, if I was in the UA and someone from America came and told me they were concerned about some unit in the UA having a patch that resembled a Nazi symbol I'd be scratching my head about that confederate flag I saw on TV being marched through the halls of congress on 1/6. 7. Putin's press secretary states that Russia will "liberate" Belarus if its population were to rebel against Lukashenko's regime (yahoo.com) Russia will intervene if a popular armed uprising begins in Belarus in order to overthrow the regime of self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, said Dmitry Peskov, Putin's press secretary. Source: Russian state-owned news agency RIA Novosti Quote: "This neighbouring country [Belarus − ed.] is our partner, ally and fraternal state. Naturally, the Russian Federation has obligations to ensure the security of Belarus, which we will do in the face of such an obvious threat. " Details: He also called Poland a "hostile" state for Russia, as it is now allegedly "engulfed in russophobic hysteria".
  8. Well the Russians who raided Belgorod this week aren't trolling, at least some of them really are fascists. A Russian white nationalist says he used American military vehicles for an attack inside Russia this week (yahoo.com) Looking for a non-fascist Russian element on either side might be a difficult reach. Not like there is a strong democracy movement there. on the Ukrainian side there clearly has been some far right involvement however I think the UA has made a concerted effort to rein that in even if it is mainly to make sure folks know who actually is giving orders and organization to the fight. Haiduk has provided us a history throughout these pages of who is who and what is really going on as the narrative is not simplistic. Hell Germany has had issues as well. 10. I once worked for a dotcom and someone proposed a company slogan of "we suck less!"
  11. I understand that, however considering how much of that we see here, why would we expect the UA to be totally without any aspect? it is an unrealistic expectation that then feeds a narrative and an unfair standard.
  12. and more from Prig, he is on a roll. Putin could have a 'revolution' on his hands because Russian elites refuse to send their kids to die in the Ukraine war, Wagner boss Prigozhin warns (yahoo.com) Russian President Vladimir Putin could have a "revolution" on his hands over his botched war in Ukraine, Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin said. In a profane rant during an interview with pro-Kremlin blogger Konstantin Dolgov, the head of the Wagner Group called out Russia's elite for protecting their children from being drafted into the war, according to a translation from The Times. "The children of the elite smear themselves with creams and show off on the internet, while ordinary people's children come home in zinc [coffins], torn to pieces," he said, according to The Times. "I recommend that the elite of the Russian Federation gathers up, bitch, its youth and send them to war." Prigozhin said their "fat, carefree" lives could spark outrage and a "revolution," leading working-class citizens to storm the elite's "villas" with "pitchforks." That revolution, he concluded, "might end as in 1917," referencing the Russian Revolution of 1917, when citizens overthrew Tsar Nicholas II and his family.
  13. oops... Wagner boss Prigozhin says Putin's plan to 'demilitarize' Ukraine has been a bust as Ukraine now has one of the 'strongest' armies (yahoo.com) Wagner Group founder Yevgeny Prigozhin said this week that Russia has failed to achieve one of its main goals, demilitarizing Ukraine, and has actually made Kyiv's army stronger through its invasion. "So how did we demilitarize? It turns out that on the contrary, we have militarized Ukraine," Prigozhin said in a video interview now circulating around social media. Prigozhin, who has in recent months taken repeated shots at the Russian defense ministry and Russian failures in Ukraine, said that Kyiv has gained more troops and more weapons since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine last year. He refers to "demilitarization" as a "sore" spot, according to a translation of the video published to Twitter on Wednesday by Anton Gerashchenko, an advisor to Ukraine's minister of internal affairs. The nod to demilitarization refers to one of Russian President Vladimir Putin's key ambitions in the unprovoked assault on Ukraine in February 2022. At the time, Putin announced a "special military operation" with the goal of "demilitarization and denazification" of Ukraine, a democratic country that is led by a Jewish president. Prigozhin said his mercenaries have battled in "many places" and against "many people," including American, French, and United Nations troops in the various locations that Wagner tried to operate secretly in before its role in Ukraine quickly thrust the group into the public eye in a major way.
  14. nah it is just Russians having a smoke after getting fk'd in Belgorod.
  15. why are we holding Ukraine to a different standard than ourselves? The US military and police forces are riddled with white supremacists. Hell our congress has more than a few. And now those in congress are complaining the pentagon is too "woke" in trying to reduce the presence of white supremacists. I would prefer these political forces be gone, but the sad reality is there is still a lot of it in this world. That some of them would show up in this war isn't the least surprising, but it is not representative of the UA and I feel this is a lot about nothin. Funny thing is the US politicians who are most opposed to the US funding this war are the ones who'd be least offended by fascist symbols.

  19. the visual though is pretty bad, but hey "everything is going according to plan".
  20. Maybe in the next aid package they can include funding for a Black Sea module - "Civil war in Russia". With BFs track record that might be enough to push Putin over the edge.
  21. yeah but can it do a load of laundry?
  22. There is no way this can be more interesting than what is going on in Belgorod.
  23. Russian Deputy Minister Dies Suddenly After Slamming ‘Fascist Invasion’ of Ukraine (yahoo.com) A senior Russian lawmaker who was reportedly critical of the invasion of Ukraine died over the weekend, the Russian government confirmed, in the latest unexpected fatality of a prominent figure since the war began. In a statement, Russia’s Ministry of Science and Higher Education confirmed that Deputy Science Minister Pyotr Kucherenko, 46, died on Saturday. The ministry said he “became ill” while on board a plane carrying Russian delegates home after a business trip to Cuba. The flight made an emergency landing in southern Russia but doctors couldn’t save him, the ministry added.
