I don't recognize DONTSTOPWAR as a reliable RU channel, but maybe I am forgetting.
-
Official acknowledgement of a “situation”:
-
Rybar reporting that Rosgvardiya is mobilizing (units not already mobilized / kinetically demobilized in Ukraine presumably). If if they just go through a pantomime of a coup attempt, the damage to Russian state image will be huge. World must immediately tap strategic popcorn reserves.
-
Hasn’t Prigozhin almost always used video to deliver messages in the past? Is someone, internal or external, trying to induce chaos or justify RU action again Wagner using AI fakes? Not clear if source is “normal” channel for Prigozhin to use for such messaging.

Probably BS, but very fun BS:

Defense of Position Granite cont.:
-
Definitely Storm Shadow (debris was already shown regardless). One more similar hit and bridge is probably effed.

Oh what the heck... total RUMINT that will most likely prove to be false, but it would be fun if it turns out to be true:
The Twitter account that posted this doesn't seem to be crazy, but it will take more than a blurry photo and "no proof of life" within 7 hours to convince me he's out of the picture.
If it does turn out to be true (very low probability!), then I think we can guess why this particular trench was targeted
Steve
The account is pretty clearly posting this tongue in cheek just because of the red beard.

But I think he came out too fast and w/o enough warning, having probably waited too long to decide, surprising the soldiers.
That dude was already shot repeatedly and was either falling forward or just instinctively trying to lunge away.

This was found in the tablet of Russian officer. TO&E of US Division-86 tank and motorized infantry battalions and the same units of Western Germany. Generals always prepare itself to wars of past %)
This is either repost, or second time such captured “intel” documents have been shown.

Hard to tell. Anyways looks like we have another vid from the morning showing the dam already breached and a explosion in it. Odd stuff going on. I guess they tried and failed to stage some things. The first vid is from 2:45 am at night, the other one after sunrise. Here:
The latter is a mine being dislodged and detonated by flood waters.
-
Looking back to the original drone footage, the area on the left bank side of the turbine halls was not initially breached:
-
I don’t see how breach on far right here could be dam failure.

May be behind a paywall but article from May 17th said reservoir levels were at 30 year high and risked flooding. Could it have been a failure rather than intentional?

Oddly coincidental…

Oh dear, it’s blown

Interesting…
He was previously in command of the 104th Guards Air Assault Regiment, 76th Guards Air Assault Division.

Now Wagner is also capturing Russian POWs:

I wonder if the appearance of the Polish volunteers isn’t another step towards escalation in invading Russia?
Now, as in Ukraine in 2014, this just shows the popularity of the uprising.

Likely UKR UAV filming of Russian tank with "bbq on top" got HEAT in turret and exploded through some time in Novodarivka village (6 km SW from location of Russian video near Rivnopil')
Actually, based on the burst and angle of the dissipating HEAT penetrator, looks like it got hit in the "grill," but fragments must have gone through open hatch and started ammunition fire. Alternatively, mine or second hit from different direction.

Is it even possible for a TOR-2 missile to hit something that small? The operator didn't maneuver very much to avoid being hit. And even if it can, is it a good idea to spend many tens of thousands of Dollars to shoot down a drone costing a fraction of that? Even the Russians don't seem to think so:

Steve
Well, the drone was there to kill the TOR-2, so I guess there is a pretty good argument that a single missile is worth less than the entire system.

Let's also not forget that the US President that effectively won WW2 was in a wheelchair for most of that time.
Yeah, but then the President died and we lost the war.
