Hpt Lisse, Exactly the same with the omega drivers. It even takes three seconds if you press a different fornation at the bottom of the screen until it highlights.

Hi, Subject says it all. Demo crawling at 1 or 2 frames a second so I need some help. Is anyone playing the demo successfully with AMDAthlon 64 and ATI Radeon Xpress 200 video? Or similar ATI Card? Many thanks, Mike

Rune, Sorry I think this is a game issue. The ATI Radeon xpress 200 works great with every other game under the sun and at hi settings. Maybe im giving the impression that I would just like it to run faster. This is not the case. I see a model move/animate once every 3 seconds! TOW must be doping something different from all the other game manufacturers for it to be this way. I have reloaded the driver to 7.1 still no difference. Does this problem seem to be coming from AMD 64 Athlon Users?? Any more suggestions? Mike

Rune, My driver is 8.360.0.0 for ATI Radeon Express 200. Just to say this is very far away from being right. Its not just a tweak needed. Game is grabbing 100%CPU. Mike - Spartan

Moon, You mean single CPU. Works very marginally better. But honestly more like 3 sec between a model moving.

Guys, With all the grahics set to minimum its just unplayable. One second or more delay between frames, clicks and everything. I dont think its spec because I can run COD and all other FPS games fine. System Spec: AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 1.78GHz 2GB Ram ATI Radeon Express 200 Graphics card Windows XP Its so bad I dont think its a spec issue? Thanks, Mike

I really do think people deserve some sort of idea as to when to expect the download. Honestly guys I know its not long to wait but its not a good way to treat customers. Im sure someone will respond with some details before long.

Guys, just my opinion here but most people still seem to be playing BOTS. I think a few changes to the lobby format would change things a bit. It would good to move towards the gamespy idea of a lobby where players just post a game, like now but visible from main lobby. The trick would be to be able to state 2 or 4 player and also rate the game for the current values of the pilots. The worst thing I find at the moment is trying to get an even-ish match. If the open game displayed a range of values for the match then that would help. Also, a practice or training game where points were not deducted and another for battle games as is now. I hope someone realises what I am getting at and can maybe add to it. Unless we encourage more people to come online and play each other it will be hard to get our game to grow.

Players in the lobby talk about points values. When you use manage pilots it never mentions anything like this? What is this and how do you know what your pilot is? :confused:
