  1. Wine *should* work even on PPC platforms. Cedega... dunno. As for PowerPC, you're probably right.
  2. o.O I thought the Stryker's turret was wire-controlled from within the crew compartment?
  3. The sad truth is that more often than not, even the developers don't have any editing tools. You'd be surprised if you know how many commercial games use hand-knit, insanely complicated exporters and editors. I know of instances where each exported level required some HEX-editing because nobody got around to fix the exporter to match the latest software. Also, the decision on what to release or not is usually done by the management people, who aren't into the whole "giving away"-thing
  4. Use VirtualPC on a really fast Mac, or install Linux and use Wine or Cedega.
  5. *nods* I just read the bit about multiplayer in another thread. That's a perfectly reasonable decision, and of course warrants a good deal of development time. So... May? Just kidding.
  6. Yay, down with Starforce. Do a serial number thingy for multiplayer instead. Oh and PLEASE allow a single copy to be used in multiplayer LAN games - that's very important to get others hooked on LAN parties. And yay for keeping the original russian voice too. At least I know I'm not the only one playing EnemyEngaged with the russian voices for the red forces
  7. Yes, and it's about damn time. I've known about this game for several months now, and the detail in the screenshots is staggering. It's a good thing that Battlefront publishes this game, it fits perfectly into the portfolio of a war simulation specialist. Now, AFAIK the game is pretty much finished anyway, right? When's the release date? Next week?
