  1. A great tweak would be the development of HQ skills-promotions-

such as desert combat/fox (15% defense and attack in desert area)

    blitz extra movement exploitation

    rugged defense, etc.

guerilla warfare, trench warfare, ace, wolfpack, fleet operations, etc.

HQs should be divided into army, air force, navy and corresponding units attached to the HQ. Air units can be attached to an army HQ in close air support role (Sounds complicated).

If a HQ has a unit engaged in a particular operation repeatedly, it is given that the HQ would benefit from the experience learnt.

There should be generals assigned to units that also earn these promotions. They can be reassigned to different units and promoted to HQs.

  2. PLEASE PLEASE make the engine capable of taking advantage of multiple cores, faster hardrives, ram and video memory in order for complicated scenarios to run faster.

SCROLLING ZOOM IN & OUT this would be very sweet

    HEXES please

COORDINATED ATTACKS - please allow for coordinated attacks/defense of multiple units

game attack/defense mechanics right now still feels like beer and pretzels type

ALLOW FOR BREAKTHROUGH ATTACKS AND DEFENSIVE SUPPORT

  3. July 42 - Red lvl 3 tank destroyed- Germany almost at max fighting techs Panzrt 4s and jets are roaming around. Alexandria in trouble. USA declares war on japan- 3 carriers sunk, 3 allied carriers sunk in return. That is the drawback to focusing too much on china. Japan needs to hold as much as possible while Germany fights thru the reds and the mid-east to connect (hopefully). Stalin is crying about germany's uber-techs. Will a strong Germany compensate for a weak Japan?

  4. Feb 42 - Germany takes smolensk, kharkov, kursk, kiew, minsk, riga but Odessa still holding on. Winter strike hits German units. Norway falls to Axis. UK declares war on Japan. USA declares war on Germany but not Japan. Japan does not execute Pearl Harbor. Chungking fell to combined Tac-Bomber-carrier-army strike and defending armor vaporated. Some naval action off Iceland. UK lost corps in mideast and another unit reduced to 4. Lets see how this plays out with UK sorely missing its homebase. But in turn Barbie was delayed and Japan has not struck the USA.

  5. Japan can take-out china but the MPP invested takes away from needed naval strength to face the US. One train of thought is for Japan to just solely focus on China and delay naval operations so it can concentrate superior firepower with a smaller naval area to defend. It can not outstrip the US in production but it can buy time and delay until Germany makes good progress in Europe. If Germany is knocked out, that spells doom for Japan. Like for example with my game with Alex, I decided to focus on China as Germany is in an advantageous strategical situation.

  6. Axis definitely has the advantage- but his Barbarossa will be weak. Japan is spending a lot of MPPs to subdue China. Maybe with the US help- UK can re-invade but it must make an all out stand in the mideast -naval and ground. Another strategy is to just fall back and wait for the US to pick up steam. UK would conserve units until ready to pounce back. But the drawback is that the axis would run amuck in the mideast-africa and invade India from the west to link with the Japanese. Clear advantage for axis for sure but the game is still far from over. I think Uk got carried away with it's med naval adventures and left the UK exposed to invasion after the fall of France. UK cant afford losing their biggest carrier. They need it badly for d-day and bombing. Germany now has more of a free hand. This game is great though with the different strategies. Alex does concentrate his forces well for counter-attack.

January 41 - Madrid defender knocked to 4-Chengchow defender knocked to 2, Malta pounded.

  7. Dec 22 1940- Hitler invades Spain- Spanish cruiser and army killed. UK mainland cleared. Nanning and Chengchow fell to the Japanese with the help of carriers and tac bombers. Now the Chinese are in trouble. Hungary and Romania joined earlier. UK not being agressive towards Tobruk and I am assuming if he is adopting defensive stance after fathoming Hitler's ingenious strategy. Churchill seen paddling a canoe all the way back to Canada he-he. However, big question will Germany be prepared for Barabarossa? Will Japan be ready for the US entry?
