  1. I have realized a little tool that will help for creation 3D units sprites and save time : a Unit 3D sprites files with pre-placed blank squares. You have juste to place your 3D icons in squares (pre-placed squares) and then, to erase the square with paintbrush (all squares are relied, so they will be all erased i a simple clik. Take care : the time for "PC working" may be long because the file is big. You may download this little tool on my page (see below in signature)

  7. 2D counters are ready, and map 90% worked, with roads.
  8. The distributor of the French version (Anuman interactive) announced that the patch 1.5 for the French version is going soon to go out. My question is : if I make a scenario with the French version patched 1.5, will it work correctly with the US version (patched 1.4 or later?). Thank to Hubert you for the answer. Note : I prefer realize my work with french version, but I will write messages,names,etc... in english.

  10. Hello ! The files are in 3 part on my page (see below, in my signature). The mod's name is : "SC2_Classic_Wargame" (at the end of page). You must download the 3 winrar files (Part 1, 2 and 3). The counters are worked about original 2D counters (I have no longer other old "2D isometric" counters : they did no work with the 3D map). I am working for complete this mod and then, I will work on my Falklands mod again, and after this, I will try to realize a AMERICAN CIVIL WAR EAST THEATER with great map. But I have to work very slow, and take care because of old eyes

Added American civil war unit sprite military file on my personal page (see link below in signature) Capture : These file will save time for moddeurs who want to realize american civil war scenarios with 2D units, as classical wargames. I will realize one file for each great "war time" period : antic, Middle-Age, 18° Th, Napoleon empire, 1900-1914. And after, some maps with the utilitie that was us given in the 1.4 Patch (map generator : very funny and nice !) To make maps is actually more easy that before. After that, if my eyes are not dead, I will begin to study scripts with the script editor. Hubert, your game game will cost me my eyes, but I can resist !!   14. For those who want realize modern scenarios (Cold war,etc...), and prefer use Nato symbols and 2D counters (classic wargames), I have realized a new UNIT_SPRITE_MILITARY file (See my page below) Screen :
  15. I suggest to Hubert to give us a hot key for "on/off" National colors (like the "G" hot key for on/off grid. It would be nice.
  16. Yes, I would want... But Winzip is an "imperialist soft" : it take all files associations in my computer and I have never other choice, when I have installed it, to use Winzip (avec complicated manipulations). Winrar is more cool and no "imperialistic program who take all files associations".
  17. Ahhhh !! Thanks ! Is there any chance in the futur you would accept uploaded winrar files in place of zip files on CM Mods ? (I do not use Winzip, Winrar is more easy and practice...)

Thanks Due to the fact the icons are yours (Taken in SC1 game directory and "extra" directory, You may take the mod for include it in a patch as you want, for players who prefer the "classical wargame look" for the play). I will adjust some littles details and errors and then, it will be finished. I will not be able to realize all scripts and scenarios I wanted do, because I am limited in time "PC Game screen" (eyes problem). So, I will just play with the work of others !!!
  20. On question, please : CM Mods seems (for me) unawailable (impossible to access : "page no found"). Have somebody the same problem ? (It was working correctly last days in this week)
  21. Yes, but my heart bleeds when I think of all players who do not buy game because they prefer the appearance of classic wargame (in Europe, many players prefer "NATO" pawns and hex-grid, and they do not buy SC2 because of that). It is for them that I make this mod, because I am good...
