  1. Hi Vixen, this scenario isn't suitable for a human allied playing a computer controlled axis.

There still are guns coming on map as reinforcements for the Hungarians in this version and they are still a very important asset for the axis side, and being that the AI doesn't seem to be able to use them properly in this context, I must again point out that this battle is only playable as a human controlled axis versus a computer controlled allied or two humans trying to destroy each either. tongue.gif

I'd be very interested in comments from someone who played the earlier version 2 then played this one, there is quite a few changes all the way around in OOB's, the map, an added third objective.

  2. I did earlier do all the grey PzIII's based on mods posted by HeinzBaby, also done with that same look is MikeyD's grey StuG IIIG, StuH42- sIG33 IB Bison and BFC's grey Tiger.

Try looking in the BY DESIGNER under my handle over to cmmods DAFFY ya may find stuff that you don't have yet.

And ya sure can't go wrong with Bogdan's panthers, I've been using his later model versions for a long time now, I've been planning to do the earlier versions only, which I do have one do so far.

  3. I'd forget about hot keys for the moment.

So your in say, cmak and ya tap the print screen key to save a screen shot, you'll then have to go into Microsoft Photo Editor and find the EDIT section, in there you should see a PASTE option with more then likley sub-options I don't know want it would be referred to in this program, I know paint shop pro I use "paste as a new selection".

You can use the windows paint program also, just tap print screen and then go into the windows paint program, then go to the EDIT section then click on PASTE.

  4. Any paint program should have an EDIT section, this is usually where the PASTE command options are. So I'd suggest looking there and you should also find there what the hot keys are for doing this procedure.

If you get my drift you need to paste a screen capture into what ever graphic program your using.

If your using the windows print screen method, you get to save only one capture at a time, so you have to save that capture before taking another one or it'll get overwritten.

Also note that using the copy command will also overwrite any previous screen capture.

If you want to save multiple screen captures, you'll need third party programs like the ones mentioned above.

  5. I've done all I feel up to doing with it for now. This was a lot of work for a AFV thats only available for one month out of the 4 years that cmbb covers, and even worse historically didn't fire a shot in angry for the time frame that the Finns are available in the game.

But that doesn't mean we still can't have some great fictional scraps with it. As I stated before you need to go to August 1944 in order to get this puppy.

Maybe have a try at a weathered and dirty look, later on.

Also maybe I'll do a winterized version for some fictional late 43 or early 44 battles.

  6. I've had a go at whitewashing those two converted MikeyD German AFV's for Hungary, that I did earlier.

The Hungarians where very upset that the Germans had MickeyD's artwork and they didn't, so this should boast their morale and hopefully they will fight harder now. smile.gif

I done these with a somewhat grimier look, especially the F-model.

For QB players and anyone wanting to make a scenario with these AFV's, they are available July/42-March/43.

  7. I had a go at converting MikeyD's excellent German PanzerIV F and F2 for the Hungarian units of the same type.

I also had a try at giving them a little bit of a weathered dirty appearance, though the F2 model is very lightly done in that regard then the model-F.

I hope this dirt effect isn't too awful.

I hope to get winter versions done asap.

Question for MikeyD ,is it possible to get a plain gelb version of your German model-H for conversion to the Hungarian model and I would assume this model would likely be the best one to use for the Romanian T4.

Maybe you was, or could you do a version of these AFV's.
