  1. would be great with a mod using the SC1 military symbols sort of fitting the sideview he... sorry i mean tiles (almost got me fired up again) so that they sort of are seen in the same view as the original battlechess creatures .. would be cool!   2. I dont think the graphics will appeal to as many as an ordinary top view hexgame would have. This feels like a game of battlechess to me or like moving about big old statues of russki war heroes something. I think the people playing hex/tile games (dont get me started) generally does not premiere graphics but what they generally seek i think is more of a "war-map" feeling. Noone will on the other hand buy this kind of game primarely on graphics, but i really hope the gameplay is something else and that the modability is great. As long as you can promise me that there is no smoke coming out of those barrels during battle i will most likely buy the game just to try it out as these games are rare these days.

  5. An option could be to once in a while in the game get the chance to create elite forces. They would cost extra but would have certain qualities as better def, off or movement... EXCELLENT!
  6. The big change is that air has been reduced, thus the need for more attacks on ground units. Hexes with stacking may have been considered, but they must have decided it looked cleaner with no stacking, thus the move to tiles and more ground attacks that way. </font>

  8. Someone has look at the code for High Command, they solved air spotting, air patrolling, readiness reduction and more back in 1992. Ic ould be both automatic and micro managed.

  11. Also: Germany should be able to add a certain amount of oil and iron as long as they have at least one port under their control and it is not blocked by a ships zone of control.
  12. Why not just give all the minors HQ:s worth 5 and just name them something appropriate? BUT the minors SHOLUD definately be able to produce HQs. And units produced in Cities of Axis controlled minors should not be regarded as German but from that country. I have always wondered why Axis minors cannot produce more units... In High command they produced corps by a specific rate. That is a version too...
