  9. Hi and thanks for your question It has been mostly tested and created for H2H play so yes most definetly play against your favourite opponent. Some battles might be less balanced but the scores book will give the battles an even feel. As the outcome of all battles will move you to different battles depending on the outcome. So even if you loose one badly might put you into tight position in the next fight but making out alive will buy your time to move into a battle where things might look different from your perspective. So giving up is never an option the idea was to make a campaign that will have good replayability as playing ti second time through you might end up playing all different battles. Changing sides wil also change the feel to it. Against ai it is mostly balanced allied v ai if you give the ai some CEB. Same rules apply. The outcome of the whole campaign will vary depending on the outcome of single battles. Thanks for your question. Looking forward to see more questions in here and the Sie Kommen Forum. Cheers! LT

  13. I see my name amongst the great designers [blush] One of my all time favourites is Storm 555 by BT but there are many great scenarios by great designers across the CM community. Thanks to all of you who take the time to put out scenarios for all to play. Cheers LT and dont for get to check out the new campaign Sie Kommen. Out soon!

  15. Hi GaJ I think Fredrock is about to use the modsets so they´ll be easiest to run with McMMM. But as it is he is out of action due to an accident. When he is able to activate again I´ll send him here to answer your Q. We will have a modset DL page for SK modssets and I think the way they are though to work is the way you described. Cheers LT
  16. David I Thanks for the info. Fredrock is the master of mods and many other things in this project. The modpack are baing made so when they are ready we have to run all the scenarios to check these kinda things out. Thanks LT
  17. Hi Pat Glad you liked it. And there are many more... just a Sneak Preview of one of them...
  18. As a member of the design team I can say this: Final tweaking stages and briefings are put together and those commander maps are still yet to be finalized. So far the playtestings are almost over and we are getting into action to publish this campaign. But some RL issues have gotten in the way. We are all hoping to publish soon...hopefully we´ll do before CMx2.. Originally this was supposed to be ready on july 4th but...as the phrase: its ready when its ready is commonly used in these forums (CMx2) we´ll have to use the same one here.Glad to see there is interest on this. Developing team has done a superb job as far as maps scens battles etc. only putting it out to the community has been too slow. There was an unfortunate accident that has slowed the developing once again, but hopefully you guys are willing to wait for the finalized product. After all the effort, there is no idea to give you a crippled product. Some battles are still going through final stages of tweaking after over 10 playtests etc. We want it to be 100% working thing before releasing it. Like master Fredrock says: That's all! Cheers LT [ September 26, 2005, 07:28 PM: Message edited by: Larry Thorne ]
  19. IIRC there was a conversation about this in TPG where the info about minefield detonation was passed around. The conclusion was that moving slowly across minefield there is a possibility of 33% to survive across it. Then if you you add another minefield on top of the other the odds of survival go down and so on. If you use fastmove it is harder to spot mines and it isd more likely to hit a mine than going through slowly. Just my .02c Cheers LT EDIT TO ADD here is a link to a test about mines at the proving grounds Mine Test Good stuff and lots of test in the playtest tactics area and other research areas Tactics section [ August 20, 2005, 01:35 AM: Message edited by: Larry Thorne ]
  20. Hi I had the same problem as I have my HD divided into 4 different drives. Anyway I just copyed the Cmmos Folder to another drive and it works well nothing extra to do etc. What I don´t know is that if you have a different (physical) HD and moving the folder to that how things work after that. This is something you moght wanna ask at the tech forum. But if you are talking about moving the folder within a diveded HD go ahead it works fine. Hope this helps. LT
  21. DEY I will be missing your new scenrios and more winter mods. THANK YOU for your outstanding work for the community. Stay strong and hang in there. Hope to see you back in here after you have fought the system and find your way back to the CM frontlines we´ll be here. All the best!!! LT
  22. Thanks Keith! And don´t be embarrased at all! I have a feeling you will rise up TSD greater than ever like a Phoenix bird from ashes!
