Andrew These look great. Awesome attention to detail and skillful artwork. I guess you are not going to use photos anymore for modding? Only hand-drawing? It does have a certain appeal, but I prefer more "realistic" look I get with my mods from bits and pieces of high-res photos. Have you thought of making a "dusty/dirty" variant of uniforms? That would be smashing. Yeah, baby, yeah

Ok, here it is. One idea is to use flash backgrounds instead of static ones. Like a burning city skyline in the background, complete with moving searchlights and artillery flashes. Second: Have few bmps for infantry uniforms that are a little different from each other( e.g. One guy might have few more medals, chevrons for different ranks, bandages, etc.)These would be random and make the infantry less like they are made from the same mold. What do you all think?

If anyone can show me the website where I can get these series I would be very appreciative, or I can send money for it or something. I moved to the States almost 10 years ago and haven't been home since. I miss Riga very much. Its the most beutiful city I've been in. I have fond memories of an old polish tv show that I saw when I was a kid in Riga, Latvia. It's a story about a t-34 crew and their adopted dog. I am a tank commander in US ARMY now and its just so cool to look back on my life and realize that the things we take for granted will be gone one day. I hope to see that show again sometime.

I don't claim to be a Grog, but the leaf camo was used in 1945 by the Soviet scout and sniper units, but not as often as the amaeba pattern.

I see someone already posted the link to trident-military site. I just found those pics on that site a few days ago and was going to let you know , but I am too late. There is also an excelent russian movie out called "Zvezda" (The Star) about a group of Soviet scouts in 1945, whose mission is to infiltrate enemy lines. The movie is in russian, so if you speak russian like me thats great, if not, its still a good movie with real period technology. Also the scouts in the movie use that tri-color leaf pattern that is on trident-military site. Andrew, if you can mod that, it would look awesome I am sure. I am working on one as well. Can't wait to compare your work to mine.

I would like to buy a Galil rifle someday. Did you use one in the service or did you have an M4 Carbine like US Army tankers?

I know how you feel. Both of my game cds were bent, and it took me a lot of work to get them to work. I hope the CMAK will ship in a jewel case of some sorts to protect it.

The CMHQ hasn't been updated since 5-15-2003. What's the deal with that? Haven't anybody been making new mods?

I just came back with my unit from a weekend drill and was shocked to find out, that while we were gone, 22 of the parked cars were broken into, including one stolen. We always have a few every year, but never 22 in 2 days. I am appaled at my State and its inability to provide us with basic security. The Government has money to spend on Iraq, but no money for our own soldiers. Well, I have to play CMBB somemore to vent my anger..... :mad:

Wow these are excelent! Could you please do a mod for the russian black/ green camo? They had leafy type at the end of the war. I would really appreciate it.
