Seems like SC cup is a total fiasco-although I still think its competition rules were interesting. Only few games were played and lots of players didnt show any interest after entering the cup I agree that our comunity is getting rusty... I remember first ladder league-there were about 40players on the list and they all were mainly active. I sopose there are many reasons why ppl lose interest in SC cup and leagues. There are only 2ways of stopping this: 1. cmon give us SC 2 2. cmon give us rewards for winning competition and both are so far!

Agree!! subs raiding(and also ships raiding-as the famous "Atlantis" was) was one of the biggest British concerns in the beggining-UK didnt have resources to fight without colonies supply and Usa support. That means that subs raiding should cost Uk much more. My opinnion that maximum should be around 60-80 MPP per turn...

Although I adored Hassel and red most of his book few yrs ago - from this distance it seems to me like there were many "invented" adventures, or the ones he has heard from others... For example - I cant remember which book exactly it was - the part where he and his comrades are flying away (from the Russians) riding bulls!? Dont misinterprete me but the fact is that many such writers often use their imagination a little bit more...So thatswhy we enjoy in such books so much. We can find such approach in some realism WW1 and 2 writers (Remarque,etc..) Anyway I wish Kuni all the luck to meet Hassel. But what the hell would U2 talk about?

Terif! thanks for Your post...I must admitt I m a bit disappointed and surprised by Your decision but it seems to me reasonable as Your playing style.I wish there will be another game interesting as SC and similar league system so we could play again. Take some rest and enjoy the PC silence

You can see my decision - Avatar goes to group D instead Leopard - Kuni randomly chosen for group C. I hope this is fair solution...Although I basicly agree with Iron Ranger! :cool:

ok-Avatar goes to group D instead of Leopard - Kuni is randomly chosen to go to group C... I agree with Iron that we must make a final stop but since Leopard retired and 2 players were wAITING i CONSIDERED IT FAIR TO PUT FIRST ONE(aVATAR) INSTEAD Leopard and to draw group for Kuniworth.

All I can say that I m a bit dissapointed-I m also calling players who cancelled to re-consider their decisions and stay in the cup which IS NOT Z-LEAGUE. Terif and Zapp-You can see by reactions of all players they re pretty dissapointed by your decision-me too because I cant see reason why youre leaving OUR CUP.Cup was only my idea and I didnt want to consider it as mine-I was only taking the job of calling players to join and organising groups and matches schedule. Also I wrote to people from Fury software and asked them if they could provide some symbolic awards-as maybe SC2 game disc for winner...-I only wanted to give us another competition with other type of playing which could be played only once a year.Anyway You re not in the same group and wont be able to play against eachother till the Grand finale-long way to go! So once more I m asking You both come back and play the cup till the end - at least because of the other players who liked this idea and joined. thanks! Also I d like to take Avatar and Kuniworth in our cup-they were late with applies but if other players dont mind its ok to put them in random groups.

nope Zapp-I just remembered when I saw few topics and posts where You were saying to Terif not to play with low rating players and that top players like You and him are should play more often and whenever You got a chance to play eachother not to play with others. Anyway I dont understand why You re so angry-cmon man-we got one basic thing-we like playing SC against humans-and also we like to compete. If You misunderstood tone of my post it was because of my "Tarzan" english... But, still my opinnion is: we dont need challenge system made for only top 5 players... So lets stop arguing-I got enough opportunities for that on court and in life

unfortunately(is it?) I never heard of Operational art of war...when was this game made? Is there any other strategic game combining SC and PG1 (politics and war) available - not neccessarily WW2.

Well this made me mad!!!!!!! Zapp lost control a bit(Joy division song) and not to the nearest passer by(LOL)-only to Terif. Its a bit too much to force someone-player(Terif) to have another game, and another... just because he wants to have higher rank if he wins! I dont like challenge system... Anyway if challenge system is activated it should be working like this: - player can challenge only players ranked above(of course) but only 10 places higher. Like someone ranked 16(me) cannot challenge nr.2, but can nr.6... Anyway if Zapp thinks that his quality is enormous and only top5 players are good enough to compete against him You can organise SIx nations cup(as in rugby)-hehe! Take it easy-this is FUN game-if You want true war go to military academy! Of course we all like to compete and challenge is highest to play against better(positioned) players. yeah it was interesting game-at least in those days.I wonder if they could make a game which is combination of SC and panzer general - big world map-or european with politics, resources, etc...and war between countries in maps designed something like PG1. And of course more smaller units like different tanks, infantry, air...- something like Total war games. I never played Pg online-but I ve played hotseat many times
