  1. I was reading the description of the game to see if I buy it or not and read that France is a minor power? no kidding?

France is a major power of the time (they were very advance in weaponery including nuclear reasearch). The defeat was really not certain.

Is there a way to turn France a Major power?

MAJOR power? Lebo, think. Do Major powers get whacked in 2 weeks? Do Major powers have 10% of their army drunk during battle? Do Major powers join the other side (Vichey)? Do Major powers help the enemy (they went traitor, fired on my Uncles friends landing in North Africa). French colonies are even a bigger joke, they flip coins to decide who they fight for.

    Major powers kick ass.

Major powers don't fold by the act of the will.

Major powers don't have a significant portion helping the enemy.

To put France in the same company as Russia, Germany, and the United States is like saying soccer belongs in the same conversation as baseball, basketball, and golf.

  2. :confused::confused:

Don't you even make me start, you are trolling or you are dumb.... i will keep on the trolling as it seems less offensive and, hopefully, more possible...

Don't get mad, get educated. The United States military and political positioning is not based on democracy, rather resources. If Libya, Iraq, & Kuwait did not have oil, Uncle Sam wouldn't care. When's the last time anyone cared about Africa? Brazil has excellent soccer & UFC fighters...good area for some farming, a little tourism. Mexico provides a labor source for the jobs Americans won't do. During World War II, which this game is about, Central & South America are frickin' worthless land masses. So worthless, we built a canal through Panama. Back in the day of Magellan, Cortez, and Desota...there was gold to take. The future, sure, you have one, but all roads to success go thru Washington DC.

May God bless you, as much as he's blessed us,

  3. i saw in the forum, that a nations limit is not necessary, why not some nations more? only central america (as one "nation"), cuba, bolivia, saudi-arabia and afghanistan must be added, i don't understand why that nations are "dead". otherwise i must in gold activating the areas again in a very bad form:

    afghanistan>uk

    saudi-arabia, central america, cuba, bolivia>usa

    but better than "dead"...

    mathias

Must this be answered? Nothing comes from Central America except good drugs. Nose Candy.

Nothing comes from Afghanstan, except a good place to hide for those who like caves & holes.

Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and may God Bless America.

And may God bless you like he's blessed me,

  4. SeaMonkey is a SeaLion, the dude loves experienced U-Boats. He loves the air game too.

Experience in SC is god like. Luftwaffen fighters become Angels of Light/Darkness (depending on zee politiks of your mind).

But remember, in real business life,"Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted to get."

Blue Star loves SC...Gordan, you're with a winner,

  5. It is possible to swap between players in PBEM by using a sort of workaround. When the Axis side (for ex.) finishes its turn and sends it to the Allies, the first Allied player loads it as a hotseat game, and once he is done he can save it (in hotseat) and send it to one of his Allies, who does the same. The last player for the Allies then loads it as a PBEM game; once he is ready to wrap the turn, he hits the end turn button, it is saved as PBEM, and he can send it back to the Axis. I believe the original passwords are still locked into the code, even if you have saved it as hotseat. I got this to work when I tested it (2 or so iterations ago), so anybody can confirm that it still works with the WWI engine if they wish. I've always wanted to do a 6-8 player mega-game using one of the monster WWII campaigns.

Edit: found the old thread: note the exact instructions given (since you need to be aware of what folder it is in apparently).

Johnny, another interesting game would be everybody (both sides, Axis & Allies) play their turn, then a computer program plays it out like real time.

  6. Actually I think I was logged as Scorpion back then.

I've added a signature to signify me as such. You know, the Finnish git who kept arguing against overpowering air power in SC1 (well it was, wasn't it, with dual role air fleets and gaining XP for both purposes equally).

Glad to have you back on, Son. I do remember you. I actually envy my opponents...I'm jealous of them...because they get to play against me. I've always told my women the same thing, I'm jealous of them, because they got me.

  7. Oh indeed, I'm eyeballing TROM3: The Road to Kyoto and others on TWC.

I found a pretty cheap Shogun 2, 12£ or something as a download, but I'll wait and see, as $15 was a lot cheaper.

I've pretty disappointed with Steam now that everything there is more expensive to us Euros, so we'll see if they can actually offer deals to us anymore.

Hola Rambo, you're quite the magnanimous one, I remember your antics from SC1 times. Did we ever play? I don't remember.

Son, I never forget an opponent. So unless you've change your handle, no, we haven't played.

  8. OK Rambo...I want the game, buy it for me:p....on second thought, I'll buy it myself...but you make a donation to the USO and DAV in my name...OK?:)

Whatever u need pal...if any SC brother needs some food today or toys for their kids Christmas, I will chip in. Abundance has been good to me. Thinking about running some cattle for extras. Can't eat that crappy from mainstream. My body loves my real farm veggies, been growing for years. My mothers half religious Amish side has been coming through me lately. Regular business has been restored like Job story since 2008 crash. Not to mention hitting monster parlay on Stanford football.

I'm sponsoring some other locals and old friends who are on bad times, no work for them. Starting my own Elvis Memphis Mafia. I loan money with no expectation of being returned. Have u been to Garland hall with all Elvis's cancelled charity checks?

Don't forget to give, give direct, don't bother with organizations, desire nothing in return, the Holy Ghost will operate.

  9. Nice of you to offer that to people, jon j. I feel a bit guilty buying games when there are so many needs out there. Fortunately, our hobby is pretty inexpensive. Like Shogun2 for $15 last week. That's quite a game, but still like SC2+ better :)

Brother, I've always had salvation guilt, success guilt, talent guilt, financial guilt, etc...to much is given...my judgment day will not be good. The spread in this country has become a gulf. Holiday time, in the past, I've bought gloves, food, & such things to give the army of homeless...pick your city.

Giving things away rewards both parties.

  10. Alright, I'm tired of clicking around, where do I buy? Is it out now?

The Legend will have some time come Thanksgiving when we celebrate making peace with the Indians. And even more time the week after the celebration of Christ b-day & watching 100+ football games.

I'm confident the expansion will kick ass (kind of like myself),
