I want only say that, despite all. And I'm waiting the patch. And more, I hope in a replay mode in the future. Bye.

/Ah, Funkybax. Sorry, it should be clear by now that your thread has been hijacked in the most brutal and unpleasant way./ No problems Seanachai, so I hope you can help my dream. Are you the Master of the Universe, or not...? Sorry, but I think with a new graphic engine the Vietnam war can be very exciting. Helicopters, new modern personal weapons with high killing rates, a terrible opponent to fight (if I remember well there aren't US or ARVN troops anymore in these lands). Many new features, civilians, MEDEVAC, jungle fight, many parties to fight- NVA,VC,Pathet Lao,Khmer Rouges,Montagnards, various primitives tribes,French,Viet Minh, all the US and ARVN plethora of units and vehicles and guns and aircrafts and.... ...Merry Christmas to everyone Bye, Funkybax

This is a poll. I would like to see next CM engine in Nam. From French Indochinese war to the fall of Saigon. Many, many possibilities for a war with a great historical appeal. And not so used for good wargaming. Bye. Funkybax p.s. If you want to see a great site on the Nam war try this one http://www.soft.net.uk/entrinet/home.htm

Books on the Eastern Front
funkybax replied to Richard Marchand's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Many thanks to Foxbat and Andreas. I've read the Carell's books and I didn't know his background (here, in Italy his books have just been republished). I've cleared many doubts I had before now. Many thanks indeed. Bye. Funkybax  -

I think He works on them. In an other thread he asked how to delete them. Bye. Funkybax

The CMMOS soviet armor files recently uploaded on http://cm.cozog.com/ are the same on the Combat Mission HQ site, or they are a new version CMMOS compatible? Bye. Funkybax

 I've the same problem and I've found the SOLUTION in an other post (sorry, I don't remember who and where). The problem is the european CDV version that has not the "Barbarossa to Berlin.exe" file but an exe file named "CombatMission2.exe", so CMMOS can not find the right exe file to work. You have to make a copy of your "CombatMission2.exe" file in your CMBB folder and rename it "Barbarossa to Berlin.exe". So, with the original "CombatMission2.exe" the game can work and with the new "Barbarossa to Berlin.exe", CMMOS can work too. I've thinked to post it for everyone that have not seen the original post. But is better Gordon make a little patch for it. Bye. Funkybax

Nvidia Detonator for win95/98/ME SOLUTION!
funkybax replied to funkybax's topic in Combat Mission - Tech Support
At now I think so, all seems more detailed and I haven't found problems. No text problems too. But I have it only from 2 hours. Bye. Funkybax  -
I posted this before: "I try to install the new detonator nvidia driver for win95/98/me but it say to me that I haven't this file "nv4_disp.inf". I have a NVIDIA Geforce2 mx/mx 400" Now I've found the solution. The NVIDS.CFG file refers to NV4_DISP.INF and NV4DISP2.INF When the files in this release are called NVAML.INF and NVAML2.INF. So you have to extract the files without use the autoinstaller and install them later with the panel control updater. Bye. Funkybax
