Tanks for getting back to me so quick. I am having the same problem. In fact the only type of division you can get is mechanised. No Infantry, Mountain or ski. This is where the problems with uniforms come in. Excuse me while I get boring here! The bmp for the infantry body is( thanks for the tables Micheal!) 9901,which is a Bersaglieri (light/mechanised infantry) uniform. The bmp for the mechanised infantry body is 9909,which is the uniform of the Savoia Dragoons i.e. cavalry. So if the only division you can choose is Mechanised then the only uniform you can get is Cavalry. Check out the scenario Sapristi. The Bersaglieri and Cavalry squads all have the same bmp used. Dont get me wrong, I dont want to appear like a pain in the arse. Cheers and thanks for a great game!

As far as I know there are four different uniform types for the Italians in the bmps. These are Bersaglieri, Alpini, Cavalry and tank crew. The tank crew shows up fine but any time I have played a scenario with Italians all the other types are always represented as Cavalry. I know this is a bit pedantic but I would like to see the designers work on show. I was wondering if anybody else has experienced this? Cheers.

I have found this to be the case also. In CMBO I had a decent record of wins against defending AI. In CMBB I am get a spanking (no cheap jokes Please! ) from the defending AI. Cemetary Hill? It was my poor infantry who ended up being buried! However having said that it makes game play much more challenging. After all it's boring winning all the time, ask the Aussies!

Hi, I know this is not what you aked for, but the postie delivered my copy of CM2 this morning. One of the joys of being self-employed is that I am taking the rest of the day off to play the game. I think this is a great idea! Why only Germans? :confused: There are plenty of different Allied uniforms and formation/division signs out there to choose from.

Ok now I am really getting angry about CDV. Yes I know Bfc can do nothing because their hands are tied but now Cdv have come out and said that the game MIGHT be released in October!!!!!!MIGHT? Maybe November.... or December.... or when they could be arsed! I have hung on for them as long as I can. They can go and get well and truely stuffed. Therefore if any kind soul out there would order the game in America for me I would be very gratefull. Hi Gary, yes I was and i've still got the scars to prove it! To move on to something a bit more serious, I really think you should reconsider about pre-ordering the game. I know it's crappy that we get a censored game and a shortened manuel but there is very little we can do about it. I think enough people have complained about this and I am sure the guys at BFC have not ignored them but have taken it on board. Unfortunatly it is a done deal. A somewhat raw deal, yes, but one which cannot be reversed for this game. Hopefully something can be done for future games. However future games depend on this game selling and selling well. Gary, if you are still in doubt take a break from the forum for a couple of minutes, and when you come back take a look at some of the screens sent in by people who have already got the game (lucky sods!) and like me you will be drooling with anticipation! Yeah it's good to know we won't have to wait as long for patches as we have for the game(yet another dig at bloody cdv). Hi Gary spoke to Glenn and he remembers you. He did'nt play rugby, he was more the opera type, if you know what I mean. I was at the school as the same time as you but I would have been a snotty nosed first year with a blazer 5 times to big. I have had Cmbb (sorry CM2) on order with SoftwareFirst.com (for what seems ages !) but still no firm date or price from them so I may go with Game also (much more sensible anyway as I have one of their discount cards). I think some people here in the UK and Mainland Europe are getting a bit over excited about this. After all it's only 2 weeks we are taking about, not 2 months, not 2 years. Don't forget there are some (small I admit)advantages to this. For instance new mods and scenarios for cmbb will, I'm sure be out there in many different websites and ready for downloading by the time the game can be bought here. Chill out people, no point getting a heart attack over something that can't be changed.
