The aircraft is definitely an improvement over CMBB.
Hopefully, in the CMII engine they could increase the aircrafts prestige in the game further by doing the following:
- Allow the plane to first be seen by shadow, then the plane itself, then reflect the rockets/bombs being shot, then the pull up.
- You could even show the AA tracers firing past the planes and the flames of the plane if hit.
- If a plane is hit you could have a % chance that the pilot ejects and could drift out of play.
These things would really increase the excitement and immersion of the game.
As always, comments welcome on this.
Do you know what time period the Germans had aircraft available for purchase in CMBB ? I am having trouble finding them. Perhaps, it is only at the beginning of their attack on Russia.

Why do you feel AA couldn't handle a Stumovik-IL ?
I looked in two books:
Jane's Pocket Guide Fighters of WW2
and
Aircraft of WW2 by Chris Chant
and I cannot find this aircraft listed. Does it go by another name ?

I am quite impressed by the number of aircraft available and the low purchase price for many of them. I really appreciate this aspect of the game.
I am also enjoying watching the rockets being fired, adds allot of immersion into the game and makes it more exciting to play. The adrenaline really gives a rush.
Wadda go BTS, you really nailed the aircraft right in CMBB !!

A response from BTS would be appreciated. You were advertising 9000 points. What happened ?

Hello Stixx,
Interesting post.
The thing I find strange is BTS was advertising CMBB as going to have upto 9000 QBs !!
So what happened. A response from BTS would be appreciated.
This would be a nice upgrade feature for the first CMBB patch.

I wanted to try a 9000 point QB but it only goes to 5000 points.
What happened ?
I thought BTS was advertising that CMBB would allow a 9000 QB if desired!

Disagree, the men definitely move down when the "Dig-In" command is given. Based on that I must assume they have achieved a better position than no using the "Dig-In" command.
Cameroon, before you answer a question, you should at lease try the command yourself.

So that should answer your question. Dig-in has no effect unless you can dig a foxhole.

Hello BTS or BFC or CM or KFC
Question: When I use the "Dig-In" in buildings and rubble does this lessen the chances of being seen and/or shot.
In addition, could you create a window on the control panel confirming a unit is using "Dig-In" it is difficult to tell in rubble and a building as there is no foxhole created.
As always, comments welcome!

At 1000 points my card plays well, at 2000 points my card really bogs down.
I am thinking I may purchase a Nividia T1 4200 128 mg card.
How is everybody else finding the game, from a video card perspective ?

I am noticing the CMBB grass is far to dark. I cannot see my units well. I liked the bright green grass in CMBO.
Can you mod the the CMBO grass, that would help me to play the game better, I think.
I am sensing this game is allot darker as a whole than CMBO, I have my montor to maximum brightness and gamma to maximum and it is still dark.
Anyone else having this problem ?

The grass looks to dark to me

Yes you are correct I am in the setup phase, so when I hit GO I will presume they will be in the trench.
If the trench is the trees, will the trench and men inside be harder to find for the enemy ?

Yes a Mod Forum.
In addition, please call the forum:

Are trenches only to be used as anti-tank weapons or can I hide infantry in them ?
I am trying to hide my infantry in them, but the Control Panel is only registering WOODS, not the trenches.
Thanks

Is this the group concensus that ver. 30.82 drivers are the best drivers to use for CMBB then ?

Thank you

Comment on Aircraft - Nice Job

With Shift-A at Maximum, I believe the scope of the battle is above 30 metres.
Perhaps MadMatt could comment on this ?
How many aircraft made their attack run at or below 30m?</font>
