I'm in the middle of a '39 campaign as the Allies and the Axis AI allowed Italy to capture Yugoslavia and I have seen much Yugo partisan activity. It does pick up in the winter months.
Oh, Uh, I'm not playing with myself. My cat is here, uh, well, how embarrassing. Panzers East! Really, I'm still waiting on the patch so I can conquer in all of SC's pristine glory. Thought it would be available by now. Soon I hope.
I got HC with much anticipation and play it about 1 hour and gave up in frustration. Horrid interface, dismal AI, and mind-numbing gameplay. I do see the point though, SC is alot like HC in scale and subject but they are also polar opposites, thankfully.
I would think that if the Publisher or Producer thought that there was a good reason to make the manual available by DL then they would do it or make it known that someone could do it if they wanted. Maybe Hubert will read this post and comment.
I believe you. Hubert should be around soon and he can comment.

I actually stayed up till 2:30 am playing Legion with the new patch lsat night and it was great. But alas, Legion must take a back seat for now as my panzers warm up their engines.
I am very glad that you cant conquer a country simply by capturing the capital. You should be required to destroy their will to resist and this is modelled by the destruction of their armed forces. It appears that Germany may not have an effortless romp in the first few years and that the timeline for conquest will be quite tight. God let the mailman ge generous on this day.
There is no doubt that the Germans made many mistakes along with the Allies and when Hitler took a greater hand in strategy after '41, the Germans made some real woppers. The winner in war is usually the side that makes the fewest mistakes; overwhelming industrial capacity never hurts either.
Yeah, it can take a few game to get used to the system. I like it alot and the patch looks very promising. Along with SC, I should not need to buy another game for some time.
Youve got to be kidding. Then there is hope I might have it tommorrow, WOO HOO!
Where do you live?
