Today is my retirement party at work. I usually hate partys, and I did not have one when I left my other job, but I figured...hey this is it for real...I'm retiring for good (I hope) from the work force. I have six more days after today...then I become a pensioner...who would have thought this day would come, now I can sit home play CM, post on the MBT, and just generally live a quiet life.

Just don't show up here....there are laws against such things.

Hey Sturmy....good for you, somewhere along the line we lose sight of the fact that life can also be enjoyed. Where we don't have to feel guilty if we have been blessed by our environment and our work ethic, in other words we can actually enjoy the fruits ( no pun intended) of our labors, and live a quiet, comfortable life! I am retiring in July, hopefully I will have the time to enjoy it. Once again......good for you!
