Nope, The Area the Maginot line is actual BELONGED TO GERMANY. But if i made the hexes Gray, then the Maginot line would stand AS GERMAN. So actually, the Germans DID go through Belgium, because the Schlieffen Plan called for a MASSIVE Flanking Maneuver. As for the Massive causualties, if you play it WITH A HUMAN as it was designed, the casualties ARE depicted. Especially in the vicinity of Paris. CvM

I am not accepting applicant for the New 'Great War' Tournament As you might expect, the game used will be the WW1 campaign of my creation, We will use 1.11 probably. I will get that up at the SCHQ as soon as I can. I will also post the House Rules that MUST BE FOLLOWED here soon. CvM (Signs for the Tourney) [ April 25, 2003, 11:21 PM: Message edited by: Carl G. Remember, at least in the Middle East, the Ottomans had captured some of the French Areas. so naturally they would want to keep them. As for the outright annexation of France, I offered to accept Brest-Litvosk IF the Low Countries and the French Mine were included: No deal. So, allright I thought, I'll take it all! Btw, Jersey, myself and Brad DO intend to follow the Rise or Fall of the new Imperial German Empire. Churchill wont take this defeat sitting down. CvM

July 13th, 1917: Germany Dictates Peace terms to France and Britain. Key points are: -All of France becomes part of German Empire -All French Overseas Colonies are now German -Belgium will be regiven it's sovereignty (As a puppet) -The Kingdom of Italy will Cede its provinces NORTH of the Po river. -Britain Cedes all Middle Eastern Possesions to the Ottoman Empire -Britain will retain its Sovereignty, and all colonies, excluding it's Middle Eastern Holdings. -Britain takes responsibilty for it's envolvement in the conflict For Russia: Ukraine Ceded to Austro-Hungary becomes independent 'Ukrainia' Baltic States come under German Control same as Finland. *In London, a member of Parliament expresses his discontent with these terms. He stands before the House: "If the remnants of the British Empire, and It's Commonwealth last for a thousand more years, men will still say, that this, was their Darkest Hour.* ---------------------------------------------- All in all the was THE MOST CONTESTED game I have ever played in SC, this was the most enjoyable. The outcome was never a sure thing until i had Paris surrounded on its Northern Flank. [ April 24, 2003, 08:51 PM: Message edited by: Carl G. E. von Mannerheim ]

May 1917 The Troops of Germany capture Smolensk, 150 miles from moscow. Rioting throughout Russia ensues, and in a bloody revoltion, the Czar is replaced and the new Bolshevik Government surrenders to the Germans. Russia cedes Finland, the Baltic States, and the Border moves to east of Minsk and Kiev In France, the End is near, the Germans wrap more around the city of Paris
